That being said, those that have been around some years know who I am! I will always love you all and will always speak life at this shadow of death!

Maybe still waters will do the right and honorable thing and not ban me, let me speak my message and let the people decide like so much of this confusion others are free to spread here. I'd rather keep it simple. If one man died for all, THEN ALL WERE DEAD!

And for those that can grasp this, they now know what the bible means when it says that the head of EVERY woman (spirit of every male and female) is the man (the flesh of every male and female), and that the head of EVERY man (male and female) is Christ (the Spirit of love)!
The fact that the Scriptures have psysical and spiritual meanings does not render the physical one untrue. Else you are saying that God has pronounced a lie. His Word is true on every level.
Homosexuality is a sin same as any other it is being listed together with in the Bible. He should not be judged by men's judgments or treated unkindly, but I believe everybody deserves to be told the truth and offered help and support to overcome. And if he dies embracing his sin because some told him it was not a sin, dont you fear that you will have to answer God?
While I agree on peace, peace should not be made with sin, but with God and all men! So yeah he should be treated kindly (peace with all men) but always told the truth (if we want peace with God).

Why are you using a Bible, which you dont believe in,to try and prove your point? You're using Scripture to try and make a point.Rather odd.
Why do you profess to believe in the bible's instructions when you make the choice to cherry pick verses about being against homosexuality and choose to ignore the instructions to murder adulteresses, which are found in the same book? It's because you make a choice to, the same way I make the choice to point it out on a Christian forum on a thread talking about homosexuality being an abomination (as in Leviticus). It all seems rather pertinent to me, and while you'd probably like for me to divert my attention away from the issue at hand and go on some silly back and forth about the merits of an atheist counter-arguing with a Christian by using the bible, your response shows your obvious unease at the argument I put forward, since you chose to focus on the poster rather than address the content of the post. The reason you're uneasy is because you can't argue with the logic.

If you follow some instructions from Leviticus because they're convenient and don't follow others out of aversion to their moral repugnancy, its pretty obvious you make the choice to just follow whichever parts of Leviticus take your fancy and ignore the ones which don't. Hence, any opinion you have on homosexuality being repugnant by virtue of its biblical condemnation in Leviticus is quite disingenous and something I will consider sufficiently inconsistent to disregard entirely.

Please find a new argument, or be consistent in your views and admit stoning people to death for wearing clothing of mixed fabric (Leviticus) is just as valid a teaching as hating homosexuality (Leviticus).

If the flesh profits nothing, why give it power in any respect? And what I'm saying is that when that law was made, it was necessary. We weren't that many. Now we are 7 billion and counting! How many of us do you think is actually gay for us to have so many people? The truth is we ALL die for sin. Unless you learn how to address your own reasons for dying, you should not try to correct someone else.

If he was on drugs or idolatry... The kick would be the same?

Foolish legalism!

We can insist on being better then the world we´re trying to scape but our religions and self-rightousness STINKS.

"The Bible says" I can say, but Jesus knows the truth:

Mat 7:21 Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.
1 Corinthians 5
It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father’s wife. [SUP]2 [/SUP]You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst.[SUP]3 [/SUP]For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. [SUP]4 [/SUP]In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, [SUP]5 [/SUP]I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? [SUP]7 [/SUP]Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; [SUP]10 [/SUP]I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. [SUP]11 [/SUP]But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one.[SUP]12 [/SUP]For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But those who are outside, God judges.
Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.

1 Corinthians 13
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, [SUP]5 [/SUP]does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, [SUP]6 [/SUP]does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

We do need to show love, compassion, mercy, etc. BUT, at no point do we tell anyone that any sin is not sin. We should try to approach people in a loving, non-condemning manner. We are all sinners, but we are to build one another up in righteousness.

John 2:13-16
[SUP]13 [/SUP]The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. [SUP]14 [/SUP]And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. [SUP]15 [/SUP]And He made a scourge of cords,
and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; [SUP]16 [/SUP]and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a place of business.”

John 8:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them,
“He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” [SUP]8 [/SUP]Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. [SUP]9 [/SUP]When they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the center of the court. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” [SUP]11 [/SUP]She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.”

Jesus said that He did not condemn her, but he also said to stop sinning. He showed her love and mercy, but did not sugar coat the fact that adultery was a sin.

Isaiah 57

17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

Who are those that are far off? Who are those that are near?

You should have. I change not like my Father! What law am I breaking, here or on CC in spreading LOVE! And if I am banned, I will simply come back again. I do not care about reputation, post numbers, friend requests or any of the things you all care about. Frankly I am tired of holding back this wonderful truth given to me. So if still waters want to ban me AGAIN for spreading love, I will simply return under another name, which will ultimately cost him more in storage space!

Hasn't the guy who frequents here who is also routinely banned, do the same? You CANNOT stop the signal!

The only thing I would ask to still waters is if he believes in a trinity, why doesn't he ban all non-trinitarians??

If he's not, then why won't he ban people like bowman who flat out states that all non-trinitarians will burn in hell!!??

I'll tell you why. Because you all LOVE violence, and HATE peace! And my message is that of PEACE!!

****Remember, if and when he does ban me, I HAVE BROKEN ABSOLUTELY NONE OF CC's RULES!!" But you all will accept it as most here are scare of him and hypocrites yourselves!
I have. For the second time.

Sorry, we aren't "perfect" like you are, for you claim you do not change, just like the Father.

But we take comfort in GOD's Holy Spirit, who builds us up, and sanctifies us, and protects us from the lies of the Enemy, and people who speak lies and perversions, as we abide in HIS Holy Word.

Acts 20:29-32 King James Version (KJV)

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

All who believes is a son of God, correct? So why be irritated when I say I sin not? If you knew what perfect meant to God, you wouldn't say these things. God sends the rain and sun on both the good and the bad. Thus perfection to God is simply to love both the good and the bad like you do yourself!

You don't have to hang with a gay man to love and respect him. If it wasnt for that TV, money and the division of war, you would probably not have any contact whatsoever with a gay person.

If there is free will, then I choose to believe! I believe I through Christ can do all things, even bring peace to the world! I no longer want to see kids killing kids over shoes and jackets! I no longer want to see tha little lady sleeping on the side of a building that feeds her everyday! I no longer want to see our troops dying for corporations and money under the lies of freedom! I no longer want to see people getting killed by police, OR police getting killed by people!! I no longer want to see people dying from disease and starvation and homelessness!

I want to see LIFE! And through Christ as I breathe and stand I will show you! Lord give me strength, and those that want the same in there hearts, HELP ME!

In other words, you'll kick him out of your church, too! Don't sugar coat it, make it plain! The problem is you don't kick yourself out for whatever "sin" you are guilty of.
You have just made an unjust judgement against me regarding with what I said. If I am involved with willfully sin and I state that it is ok with God to live this way, no matter what the sin is, then I would deserve to be "put OUT" if the church elders came to that conclusion. Paul did that with the Corinthian man who had sexual relations with his father's wife (his step mom). The problem you have isn't with me, it's with the Word of God.

PS. not all sins receive the same punishment, but all sins separate us from God.

I hope I´d be dismissed to elaborate on the things you don´t want or cannot see regarding what i said: Sexual sins are sins.

If you chose to see mary that way, it´s you beliefs, and I respect your believing but I would dare to recommend reading about the Samaritan who also had 5 "husbands" and the one who was in the risk of being stoned by Jewish legalists.
She had 5 husbands before she met Christ! I'd point you to the adulterous woman whom Christ saved from death from stoning, he told her to sin no more, not continue in her life style of adultery.

Do you question how homosexuality is represented in scripture. It is never portrayed as anything but sin.
And punishable by execution according to OT Levitical law, stealing is a sin, but the punishment was restitution not death. Certain sins come with a bigger punishment. Now before the liberals go off the handle here, I'm NOT suggesting we execute people for sexual sin, just merely pointing out that homosexual is a serious sin and carried a bigger punishment then common sins.

By separating the gay man for being gay, you show your hate for him in you heart thus making you a murderer. Christ died while you were still a sinner. If a man kills my wife and I FORGIVE him, what written law against killing can harm him? That is the difference between the flesh and the Spirit! You have the power to FORGIVE. After all, we are the law makers.
On the contrary, we are showing love towards this man in biblically demonstrating that is life style of homosexual sin is unacceptable to God and not a Christian lifestyle. Jesus clearly teaches this man should be bound outside the Church community, it's church discipline (Matt. 18: 15-22).

2 Timothy 2
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

... Will I find a church that is wiling to accept me knowing I am gay?
If you lived in Canada I'd tell you to check out the United Church of Canada. You might look them up on-line to see if there are any affiliates where you live.

Is it better to forgive or to not forgive? I choose to give him rest!
Its not a matter of forgiveness. If he is continuing to be gay without changing his lifestyle then he needs to change that to be in a right relationship with God.If he is reading the Bible he knows what he needs to do. He doesnt need you or I to tell him that.

No. You just make me this way because you all want to kill his spirit!

No,far from the truth! Not kill the spirit but save the spirit ! And set him on the right path with Christ.

Malachi 2

13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

It's not me who lies and twists things around, it's that preacher and the State that you listen and give your money to that's doing it. EVERYONE who is living is married, the covenant between the flesh and the spirit given him. And again I say what God has put together, let NO MAN rip asunder!!

Has nothing to do with what the preacher says. Its what the Bible says and homosexuality is wrong according to the Bible.End of story!

I make you this way??? Really?? That's rich!! I can't make you anything. How you respond to ppl and posts is of your own volition. I offered to help him and teach him and that's your response. You might want to just be quiet for a while.

OP: God loves you. He created you in HIS IMAGE!! But your antennae is tuned incorrectly...and that can be changed!!

this is not even remotely Biblical and you will have a hard time showing me where you dreamed this up at in the Bible.

SIN is SIN and it is not ranked, except for 1 and that is Blaspheming the Holy Ghost, which is simply unbelief in Jesus.

It is unbelief in Jesus Christ and his work on the cross that is the greatest SIN.

Here is the mind bending revelation for you on SIN:

A lost person has no idea what SIN is, because their mind as not been renewed, because their spirit still has no right standing with God, and their SIN nature dominates them. So here is the rub, if this young man is not born again, telling him he is living in SIN only adds to his confusion, Because the carnal mind is at enmity against God. He cannot understand spiritual things because his does not have the mind of Christ yet.

This is why so many fail at witnessing, because the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. How does a lost person spiritually discern things of God? That is one of the works of the Holy Ghost: To reprove the world of sin. That is his JOB not YOUR job.

Telling a person of the world they are living in SIN is like talking to a deaf person. I have never experienced a person truly coming to Jesus based on fear. Preaching hell fire and damnation never works on the lost, because all you do is appeal to a persons sense knowledge of fear and they respond to the message out of fear and not by the reproving of the Holy Spirit.

In my experiences, when a lost person comes to Jesus they have always told me they felt a Love they have never known, a mercy that convicted them and a sense of goodness from God they could not describe, because that goodness said you are free and I love you despite...... this lines up with Romans 2.4, it is the goodness of God that leads mean to repentance and that by truth and mercy iniquity is purged.

Once a person is born again, they receive right standing with the Father, through Christ and that relationship is restored and the spirit has connection with God. Sadly most of the Body stops there and then beats the snot out of people for not living right, but the bible states we must renew our mind, because your mind was conformed to the world and not by the Spirit of God.

Leviticus is no problem for me.It is OT we are living in grace in the NT.So let me explain since you are going to continue to use a book you dont believe in for your argument. In the OT the shedding of blood was required for covering of sin.Thats why the animals were sacrificed, and they had to be perfect. That is why Leviticus says what it does.In the NT Jesus was the blood sacrifice and so now we are living in grace.Still it doesnt mean that we continue to sin because of grace.

In the NT we see Christ saying to those accusing the women in adultery "you who are without sin, throw the first stone". They all left. But what did he then say? "go thy way and sin no more."So I feel the same way with someone who is gay. They are on the wrong path and Jesus would say "go and sin no more". I dont hate someone who is gay.I dont judge.God has judged it to be wrong. As with all sin.

In the OT God was preserving the chosen people, the Jews. They werent to marry into other cultures. They were not to commit sin and certain sins like adultery and homosexuality called for death. That was for the Jews. Because they were the chosen people.God wanted them to be pure and free of sin.Now we are living in grace in the NT.Blood sacrifice was made through Christ. That is why we are not living Leviticus today.See no issue.God doesnt hate gays,I dont hate gays. But its not the right path, any more then adultery or anything else.
