I disagree with your third statement that Christ died for the sins of humanity ( if you are referring to humanity as all mankind ). I believe that in John 6:38 Christ died only for the sins of those that his Father gave him.

"And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

But this man (Jesus), because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore."

"Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit given by God to those who obey. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, so if we do still sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. That if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

"A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness,
but according to his own mercy,
by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit

my mom's gently napping on the couch...(can you say, being 80 is great? lol)
so...
i used to read those verses and think, oh, man, i better go out and try to become
poor in spirit, and mournful, and meek...

now i see it and think--oh! it's a description of who i already am!

it's also a kind of lovely description of the Gospel...we see we are poor, (cuz He shows us!)
we mourn our sin, we become meek before God, we begin to hunger and thirst...
He makes us merciful, He makes us pure in heart, He makes us peacemakers...

God is so very, very Good. :)
Amen to that for sure......praise God for the things he has done for us for sure......!

Bump!

2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
Amen to this as well....Add in Galatians 2:16-21 and the fact that we are saved and justified by the FAITH OF Christ..
of can be translated of and or from and both indicate source...Jesus and the faith of Jesus is what saves and justifies us......!

yahshua (yahweh's salvation) gave his disciples a lot of 'descriptions'/descriptors , all of which are true, and all of which apply to
those who are born from heaven, born from the will of yahweh and not of man, not of flesh.

to his disciples, he gave many many warnings as well as blessings, not one without the other..

the whole world claims or tries to claim the promises of scripture,

but almost no one matches or fulfills the descriptions yahshua the messiah, son of man, son of yahweh,

spoke himself of his followers who are totally immersed in him, abiding in him, freed by him from sin and from all the consequences of sin, and who truly endure to the end....

truthfully he said 'work out your salvation with fear and trembling' (the results are life or death ! )

I disagree with your third statement that Christ died for the sins of humanity ( if you are referring to humanity as all mankind ). I believe that in John 6:38 Christ died only for the sins of those that his Father gave him.
This view contradicts the following....

1. God has dealt to EVERY man a measure of faith
2. Christ died unto SIN once
3. Christ became SIN for us
4. For God so loved the COSMOS (World) <--whole order of things
5. God would have ALL men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth
6. The grace of God that brings salvation has shined down upon all MANKIND
etc.

The only sin not covered under the blood of Christ is the sin of UNBELIEF into Christ...blasphemy of the H.S. equates the work of Christ to the power of the devil which is a state of unbelief and while one remains in unbelief they cannot be forgiven.....

I agree the forgiveness, salvation and justification only comes to those who believe, but at the end of the day Christ paid the sin debt of HUMANITY........

No doubt...not of works lest any man should boast...believing into the work that Christ has done on our behalf.......that is what saves...based upon mercy and grace and the perfect faith OF Jesus!

This does not teach that it is a prayer to restore SALVATION.....it seem you are blind to the words (JOY OF THY) Salvation....

More false teaching about loosing something that cannot be lost........!
