Zombies Vs. Minions.

Hey Everyone,

It's been a long week, it's not even half over, and I could use some playful chatter here in the Singles Forum.

After seeing some debate in the threads about zombies vs. minions (both pros and cons), I was reminded of PopClicks's super fun Pirates Vs. Ninja's thread a while back.

So, in the spirit of our favorite swarming armies...

1. Which one would you choose to BE?

2. Which one would you choose to have under your COMMAND?

And why?

I would have to say that for me personally:

1. I'd make a better minion than zombie. First of all, I've lost my taste for most flesh anyway and definitely DO NOT consider major organs to be food. Second, I've had a bit of practice at being a sort-of minion. Sometimes when my (better-humored) bosses ask me to do something, I work my perfected "hunch", hang my arms while dragging my foot across the floor, and declare my devotion: "What is thy BIIII-DDDDING, Master? I LIII-VVVEEE but to serve you!" (Would Igor be considered a zombie or a minion... or hybrid of both?!)

2. Ideally, I would have BOTH an army of minions AND an army of zombies at my disposal. After all, taking over the world is a complicated process and you never know what a situation might call for. I like to be prepared.

Please don't just check boxes in the poll--tell us your reasons why and what YOU would do if you were a zombie or a minion... or if you had an army of either one at your command!!

I would say vampires. Definitely an army of vampires. They can pwn ninjas, minions and zombies all without breaking an undead sweat. And vampires seem to be quite popular these days. That twilight stuff is still popular, and when I pass the book racks at Wal-Mart I see a lot of stories about vampires. Vampires moonlighting (er, sunlighting?) as cops seems to be a popular motif.

1) I would most definitely be a zombie. Why? Because it's literally the easiest job in the world! Being a minion would be hard work, and you would most likely have to deal with some pretty crappy bosses. A zombie, on the other hand, is just walking around without a care in the world. Plus, you have TONS of people to hang out with.

2) To command, I would have to go with minions. An army of zombies would be powerful but almost impossible to keep track of, and wherever you went you would have to smell rotting flesh. An army of minions might not be quite as effective, but they're much more practical for day-to-day living. Not to mention they wouldn't be so rank.

I want to command a land army consisting of minions riding bear cavalry. The naval forces will be sharks with laser beams. The air forces will be giant fire breathing dragons.

If I wasn't in command, I'd want to be a secret agent - they're kind of like minions. I could go rogue and retire to the mountains with a super secret internet connection with which to check CC. No more secret agent for me.

By the way, I figured out why all the interesting people are never in chat, where I would like to talk to them. They're all busy in CC, playing thread tag. It took me more than an hour to get less than four unread topics on my screen... Every time I went back to the main CC menu someone had posted in more threads.

So I want to be a zombie because food sources are plentiful and I couldn't stand having someone actually telling me what to do… that's God's job. Minioning is not for me.

However commanding my own army of minions would be preferable because zombies eat brains and I'd kind of like to keep my brain in my head where it belongs. (though it raises the question, if my zombie army ate my brain would that make me a zombie?)

Speaking for myself -

1) I would like to be a minion. They are happy creatures (or things, however you look at it). Plus, they are up to a lot of no good, which is something I can relate to.

2) An army of minions? An army of zombies? NEEEVVVVAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!! I will take the head of a zombie and add it to the body of a minion. Then I will add the wings of a vampire. Finally, I will give it the skills of a ninja werewolf and the tenacity of a cockroach. I will make an army of them. This, ladies and gentleman, is my army to conquer the world!!

MUHAHAHAHAHAAHAH!!

Now you have me wondering...

1. How much Axe Body Spray would it take to cover up the smell of being a zombie?

2. Is it possible to train a Zombie Army to eat everyone else's brain and not yours? (One of my siblings has a t-shirt of a group of zombies who all have those little cartoon "thought bubbles" above their heads. Three of the zombie's "thought bubbles" are filled with pictures of brains--they're all craving a good brain to eat. But the fourth little guy is depressed. He doesn't fit in because he's craving--and it shows in his thought bubble--a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.)

3. And one thing I was wondering about as far as the Map of Australia goes, however... They clearly pinpoint the location of Danni Minogue. But what about sister Kylie, as well as The Locomotion?!

Probably by default. If I commanded an army of zombies and they turned on me my last command before being overwhelmed would probably be

DON'T EAT MY BRAIN

which I would by default have to follow in the event the other zombies had all already eaten my brain (though it is conceivable that I might be zombified enough before the last bits of my brain were gone to consume those last bits myself in which case I would not obey my last command intially)
