Yes I have, but this does NOT refer to receiving the indwelling of
the Holy Spirit, i.e. being born into the body of Christ ...

“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body (the church)

… and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact
the body is not one member but many.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

This is a singular event that results in the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit in the believer.

The Holy Spirit yes, the fire? I hope I am never baptized in the fire...

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Verse 12 makes this clear that He is going to burn up the chaff with fire.

Mat 3:11

The parallel passages are: Mt 3:11, Mk 1:8, Lk 3:16, Jn 1:33.

If anyone here knows anyone who claims to have received this baptism,
please ask them if they spoke in tongues at that time (as the 120 were).

No, baptism with the Holy Ghost was a prophecy of Joel that has been fulfilled some 2000 years ago making that baptism obsolete. No one today has been promised baptism with the Holy Spirit. There is one baptism (Eph 4:5) in this Christian dispensation and that is Christ's water baptism of the great commission, Mt 28:19.20; Mk 16:15,16 that I have been baptized with.

In the context of Mt 3:11 baptism in fire is for those that will be lost (Rev 21:8)

Actually, it refers exactly, and only, to that event.

“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body (the church)
… and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact
the body is not one member but many.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).
... which, as Roger has pointed out, does not relate to the question asked by the OP.

Well to answer to the topic i suppose its what you consider being baptized by fire. When I was saved it wasnt a decision saying from now on I choose to follow God, no it wasnt as simple as that I woke up that morning feeling the holy spirit burning intensely inside me filling my entire body with this amazing energy like electricity flowing through you. Some consider this the baptism of fire John the baptist prophesied Jesus would do some dont all I know is that ever since then I am often consumed by a fire from deep within, It happens in my prayers in my dreams even sometime simply on my walks This fire makes me strong it makes a fiery passion and love for God.

So the answer is a matter of opinion

Isaiah 1:25
And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
Isaiah 48:10
Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Job 23:10

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Psalm 66:10
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Jeremiah 9:7
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
Hebrews 12:10-11
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 Peter 4:12
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Revelation 3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

This would have been easier then that season in the furnace of affliction and
fiery trial
(7 years) that was appointed to me to try my soul and faith after the day dawned and the day star arose in my heart. i lost all things during that season. My mom to suicide, dad disowned me after my mom's suicide, my sister stole my inheritance and disowned me, my pets died in front of me, i lost all my so called friends and family, my home and all my possessions, suffered many hard things and died to myself in the process, but i count all those things as nothing compared to the peace and joy i have found in Christ and i thank God for saving me, a little mud ball who deserved nothing but death for my sins but in His mercy He saved my soul. i Thank you and i love you Father (Abba), Jesus Christ,(Yahoshua HaMashiach) , and Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) Verily!

Some of you have responded by insisting that
the baptism with the Holy Spirit
(with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues) is NOT for today.

There are MANY millions of BACs in the world today who will testify against you.
Because they have experienced it.
And have subsequently been used in the 9 power gifts of 1 Cor 12
to help them spread the gospel, heal the sick, etc.

Now, of course, the question for you is:
Would Satan be involved in doing this? ... And if so, for what purpose?

If you have a reasonable explanation, then your UNBELIEF is understandable.

If you do NOT have a reasonable explanation ...
then please understand that you have been taught incorrectly.

Many also say that prophetic dreams and visions healing and miracles are not for today. The thing is I cant find in the bible where it says that[Blain scratches his head pondering]

To be biblically correct Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit upon the disciples in the upper room. Pentecost was a filling of the Holy Spirit for power which Jesus promised to His disciples before He ascended.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit Who is the Comforter to guide all who are saved and sealed unto salvation.

Joel specifically states that dreams and visions are for Israel not for us Gentiles.

Stop scratching your head and get in the book. Hebrews 1 tells you that God Who spoke in times past through the prophets has now spoken to us in His Son. We have the perfect revelation and His name is Jesus.

Pentecost was not a baptism but a filling of the Holy Spirit. The Greek clearly shows that tongues were evidenced as part of a filling. The disciples including Peter were baptized with the Holy Spirit in the upper room not at Pentecost.

Not that it matters to you any how.

(with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues) is NOT for today.
For good reason: It isn't.

There are MANY millions of BACs in the world today who will testify against you.
Because they have experienced it.
Millions? Doubtful. A few thousand, perhaps, but the "signs and wonders" crowd is pretty limited in number.

And have subsequently been used in the 9 power gifts of 1 Cor 12

Too many do not understand that Paul ends this chapter by questioning -- as clearly seen in the Greek -- whether these Corinthians are not seeking after tongues specifically for covetous reasons. He clearly states further a couple chapters later that these gifts in this chapter are not to be desired or preferred over the gifts that will remain long after those pass away.
1 Corinthians 14, NASB
2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.
Take particularly note that the Greek προφητεύω which is translated "prophesies" here means only to speak the word of God. That is, the Gospel. It means nothing "magical" such as foretelling the future, not biblically at any rate, though the charlatans and deceivers of Paul's day claimed to do just that.

Now, of course, the question for you is:
Would Satan be involved in doing this? ... And if so, for what purpose?
Certainly he would be involved in causing division, strife, and anger within the body of Christ, and that is exactly what this subject does, particularly in those who are adamant the gifts remain.

If you have a reasonable explanation, then your UNBELIEF is understandable.

If you do NOT have a reasonable explanation ...
then please understand that you have been taught incorrectly.
Well, someone has certainly been taught incorrectly. I guess we'll leave it up to God to determine who that is, given neither side will personally accept the accusation.

Baptism with the Holy Spirit occurs twice in the NT, with the apostles in Acts 2 and Gentiles in Acts 10 fulfilling Joel's prophecy that the Holy Spirit would be poured out upon all flesh, "all flesh" being made up of the two groups Jew (apostles) and Gentile (Cornelius)

Christ was speaking to His apostles when He promised them the Holy Ghost , Comforter, Acts 1:1-5.

Still you deny Christ. Jesus breathed upon the disciples the Holy Spirit in John 20. The abiding Holy Spirit of God is given to every believer.

To be baptized in fire, is to burn in hell.

Matthew 3:11-12 (KJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP]I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
