Why am I having so much of a problem getting a good Christian girlfriend?

Just make a friend out of her. Do not have underlying, complicated motives. DO NOT BE NEEDY. (she will pick up on the vibes)
 
hey! dude I totally see where you are coming from...I am 20 and ive only had one boyfriend..for two weeks...
I feel like love is this thing I must have...like im consumed by it...
im a pretty nice girl...so is there something wrong with me?
I know I should trust gods timing in my life...but its getting really hard...seeing all my friends getting engaged or having serious boyfriends...and im just left out in the cold...
im not sure what to tell u...cuz im going throught the same thing...

Just talk to her about normal things and things you like. Don't come on too strong or it might ruin everything.
 
So will I have better chance of atleast making friends with girls, and eventaully getting a girlfriend if I get therapy for my ocd, generlised anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and my depression. Well the depression is for the most part beaten, I just don't wanna be on meds for the of my life.

i think that is the best way

if 2 people commit their lives to each other, they need to be friends

there are christians who honestly believe that men and women cannot be friends

they are scripturally wrong

they end up objectifying the other
 
hmm, I think the bible describes women and relationships ie marriages objectively. Woman prepares dinner, looks after household, looks after children, etc etc. In fact, not one line of the virtuous women proverbs 31, talks about relationship to the man. You don't read anywhere about the woman being a good friend to the husband. Probably why arranged marriages work so well - they are biblical. In Genesis, eve is described objectively as a helper, not as a friend... what do you think... Adam refers to her as "this woman whom you gave me", Adam treats her objectively as well.
 
I don't think men and women were designed to be friends.

Look at what happens in groups of friends where there are men and women - debauchery!!!

What do you think friends do? Friend help friends and are with them through good and the bad! Wives just have other things than just being friends, but friendship is part of it.
 
dothackzero this is exactly what you need to do. i speak from vast experience.
first you need to gather all your cds video games and floppy disks. you also need 1 large cardboard box and 1-2 smaller ones. make a helmet out of the smaller one and use the larger one for your body. make sure to glue all your cds onto the boxes using hot glue (for additional strength). you can put some backwards to make the suit a little shiny, but you want this young lady to be dazzled by the ferocity of your video game titles. make sure to include a radar dish on the very top (i would recommend using tinfoil). This opens up various sexy lines.

second you need to take your car and mount a giant sword to the hood. This is for first impressions when you drive into your church next sunday.

third you need to find a soundtrack. i would suggest a mixtape but anything that has a lot of moaning and screaming is preferable. i know this sounds crude but once you have her in the mood your suit of armour will win her over.

fourth. Implementation is key. remember you are behind a mask, you are a super hero and have super powers. Do not be afraid to leap and jump regularly.

last key is not to intimidate. stay in the shadows and behind her. Lurk as much as possible. you want her to anticipate as much as possible so she is dying for you to come out. when you finally do make the definitive approach make it sensational. roar and break small tables and chairs. then sweep her under the large box and take her swiftly back to your car.

she will be smitten.
 
hey guys remember a while when I found this list of things that I think God gave me to go though to get a girlfriend?

It was something like:

Getting closer to God: Apprently I just needed to get to the point where I wanted get closer to him without pushed forward to get closer to him.

Not looking at porn anymore: For the most part that's taken care of, though I did have a slip up a couple weeks ago even though it wasn't technically porn. But I've been good since the last slip up a couple weeks ago.

Taking care of my body: I'm not really sure if I've gotten this one fixed or not. I mean I'm taking more vitimins now, but I'm not if God meant that or working out which i've been slacking on...

I'm pretty sure there's one more that I can't think of, but apprently that one has been taken care of too, since I got a new list of what I need to do...

Making money so I can take care of wife and kids.(God's givin me a few ways to do this already)
Taking care of social anxiety, and my other anxiety disorders(I'm gonna be going to a new therapist that actually speciallises in the anxiety areas starting next week.)
The rest it looks like is mostly just working working on my social/people skills.

Does that sound about right to you guys?
 
Don't forget your need for the Lord! We can do nothing on our own and when we do not ask the Lord to guide us and try to do things ourselves most generally it blows up in our face. Go to the Lord in prayer and ask him to send you the right one for you. Sometimes prayer isnt answered immediately, but God is listening and it will be worth it in the long run. The Bible says.. ask and you shall recieve. God loves you and wants you to realize your need for his guidance. Ask for his help and give him your struggles. God bless you friend!

it's because you're destined to live in solitude your entire life; this is the curse for 'waiting for the right one', is because frankly to be honest, they is no right one. Might as well get laid, smoke, drink, and enjoy yourself.
