Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, Yahweh Shammah, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

Heres a few that confirm some, as the law did prophesy, having shadow of things to come also

Jesus said,

Mat 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The law prophesied, he says,

Mat 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earthpass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Even as he also said,

Mat 11:13
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of Yahweh is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

Romans 7:7 What? Can anyone therefore say that the Law is sin? No! By no means! But to the contrary, I did not know sin; transgression of the Law, except through the Law, for I did not know lust, unless the Law had said: Do not covet.

12 Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous.

Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

I think your Romans 10:4 is broken....

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith--the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away in 1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9. Unless of course telos means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

Yaaqob (James) 5:11, "Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Iyyob, and have seen the ultimate result (telos) of Yahweh: that Yahweh is very compassionate and merciful."

The enmity speaks of the division between the carnal mind and the spiritual mind, and the way both understands(or perceives) the law of Moses. But those who push the letter of the law are still of that carnal mind, and have not the mind of the Spirit. Those who are born again of the Holy Spirit see and understand the Spirit of the law; having it written on their hearts by God's Spirit. Those who are of the carnal mind judge the law based on outward appearances. (with the eyes of man)

The enmity was first shown in the 2 spiritual seeds.

Genesis 3:15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Those who do not understand the Spirit of the law, are those who are still of that fleshy seed, which is why both John the Baptist and Jesus called those carnally minded teachers of their day a brood of vipers, serpents etc; because they were of the serpents seed (carnally minded).

Those who are carnally minded cannot hear what the Spirit is saying in the law.Galatians 4:21 "Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?"

That's all I have to say about that. :)

I think its retarded to break them up and just pit the scriptures up, because there are none I dont agree with, you take and rip them apart to destroy the scripture in the manner in which you do it, when none of the one you deposit around them are ones I have a problem with.

But you do that and thats just weird, but I know you have a problem with Paul so if it makes you feel better to insert things into posts go ahead, I build pictures to confirm the scriptures, and continuing forward, wehere you take and tear down the scriptures and sort of "speak at" people as if they reject the scriptures you post at them.

I dont, you apparently think so though

The messiah did not abolish the law. But the torah is just another way of discussing the berit yhwh or what is known theologically as the covenant of works, originally given in the garden. The torah was then republished at Sinai, as part of the covenant of grace. The covenant of grace before messiah was preliminary, unfulfilled and not yet complete, after the coming of Yeshua Hamaschiach it was complete, and fulfilled. The covenant given by god to moses was glorious, but the covenant thrrough Yeshua was MORE glorious.

The end result is, that those who teach the end of the torah will be condemned by God. Mat 5:17ff. Salvation and sanctification is by grace, but the holy spirit guides us by the Torah and the prophets, as well as the apostles. We need the promises, the threats, and the commands. And since the Torah, esp. in Exodus 21-23 has much to tell us concerning a godly society, it still applies today. All of the law of Moses, is no abolished, but reapplied and re-interpreted through the lens of the messianic mission

One that completely ignores what I asked... "is it counted as a sin if a follower does happen to sin?"

and two why is this written by our beloved brother Paul?

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

1 Corinthians 4:4-5, "For I know nothing by myself; yet by this I am not justified, for He Who judges me is Yahweh! Therefore, judge nothing before the time. Wait until Yahshua comes, Who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will reveal the secret intentions of men's hearts; and then each man will receive praise from Yahweh."

Is this true or a lie?

I go with true.

Why must you read punishment into everything you read about the judgement?

Keep reading in 2 Cor. 5 and you will see that in Christ, God is not holding our sins (called sins, so they are evidently identified as such) against us!

I've posted this before, and I hope you read it carefully:

What does Scripture say about sin and those in Christ?

18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. (from 2 Cor. 5)

See, under the Law, your sins have to be counted against you. Under Grace, Jesus has taken all of the punishment for your sins - they will never be credited to your account again. I like the way Bob George puts it:

Has God dealt with the sins of the world?

Yes.

How many times did He deal with it?

Once.

Have your sins been judged?

Yes.

Where were they judged?

At the Cross.

What was the verdict?

Guilty.

What was the punishment?

Death.

Who took it?

Jesus.

How much of it?

All of it.

How much is left for you?

None.

(More here: The New Covenant Explained – Study notes available HERE.)

Will the deeds of those in Christ be judged?

Yes. Dead works will be burned up as wood, hay, and stubble. Live works will survive the fire.

Will the sins of those in Christ be judged?

No.

All sin was judged at the Cross, and if you have received the forgiveness of God in Christ, there is no judgement for your sins. God will not judge the same sins twice. He didn't do it in the Old Covenant; He won't do it in the New Covenant.

The difference is that in the Old Covenant, bulls and goats provided a temporary covering for sin; you were clean until you sinned again.

In the New Covenant, you are cleaned of all sin, by the once-for-all Perfect Sacrifice of Christ, which takes away sin, doesn't merely cover it. Where the Old Covenant 'saved' temporarily, the New Covenant saves completely (see Heb. 7).

Jesus is the way, truth, and life. In what way did Jesus live? What truth has He given us? How did He live His Life? Jesus tells us that His way is the way of the Father and not His own. Jesus lived in truth obeying the Father. When we obey the Father as Jesus did, we will have life and live as a child of the Almighty. A child of the Almighty, wow what an awesome thing, just thinking about it, words can't explain.

I will give my view here, so you may want to vote or make your statement before or after reading?

I want to point out that the words that are in italics are ADDED:

Ephesians 2:15-16, (NKJV), "having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. "

Not only does the next verse tell us what was abolished, but when you remove the ADDED words the meaning changes.

Ephesians 2:15-16, "Abolishing the enmity Law, the Commandments, and the Ordinances, through His own flesh, in order to create in Himself one new man from the two; making peace, That would reconcile both in one body to Yahweh through the sacrifice--having killed the enmity through Himself."

enmity is:
Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon)

Feminine of G2190; hostility; by implication a reason for opposition:—enmity, hatred.

He abolished the hatred of the Law;

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Ephesians 2:15
(15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Colossians 2:14
(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

It is clear from these texts what was blotted out, the laws of ordinances. What are the ordinances?

Hebrews 9:1
(1) Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

The ordinaces had to do with the sanctuary. The earthly sanctuary was a copy of the one in heaven. Why would we still do any services related to the sanctuary after Jesus had died?

I like your post but if you read Ezekiel 40-48, you will find that the Levites will do the Service of God, animal sacrifices, in the Millennium.

Never said there is or should be sacrifice or priesthood here on earth ;
the real Sacrifice is complete, and the Priesthood has taken on it true form, as Yahshua is the High Priest now.

As explained here ;

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

"Unless heaven and earth passes away..the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law"

Has heaven and earth passed away? I will give you a minute to look out your window.......

No? Still there? So according to HIM, not me, Him, nothing will pass from the Law. (the real Sacrifice is complete, and the Priesthood has taken on it true form, as Yahshua is the High Priest now.)

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. Christ is the goal (end) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

I knew I knew you from somewheres I only know of one other that has dont that and her name started with a C elsewhere is that you? LOL

I have been sitting here saying I know her, but maybe not.

Thats the same word used in 2 Cr 3:13 correct?

I have this

  1. end
    1. termination, the limit at which a thing ceases to be (always of the end of some act or state, but not of the end of a period of time)
    2. the end
      1. the last in any succession or series
      2. eternal
    3. that by which a thing is finished, its close, issue
    4. the end to which all things relate, the aim, purpose
  2. toll, custom (i.e. indirect tax on goods)

    Write out 2 Cr 3:13

Why are some people so obsessed with the law? Like its all they post about.

Because the wrong thinks up is down and down is up....

Isayah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil righteous, and righteous evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

2 Thessalonians 2:7, "For the mystery of iniquity is already working, but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and make powerless with the appearance of His coming-- Whose coming is according to the energy of Satan..."

Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

"iniquity" is:#0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

and how can one deny what is in their heart especially when believers seems to HATE what is supposed to be in their heart

Ezekiyl 36:26-28, "A new heart; mind, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

Yeremyah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

"Law" is word #H8451 - torah - torah: direction, instruction, law Original Word: תּוֹרָה Part of Speech: Noun Feminine Transliteration: torah

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them."

what was abolished was the condemnation of the law of sin and death.

The law condemns anyone under the law. and they are obligated to obey all of it.

It does not condemn those of us to whom have been saved by it through Christ.

Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Same word here

Ephesians 2:15
(15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Colossians 2:14
(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

It is clear from these texts what was blotted out, the laws of ordinances. What are the ordinances?
Actually, the "handwriting of ordinances" is the written curse of the law, which was against us,
and which has been removed for those who believe by nailing it to the cross.

Eph 2:14-16 is not talking about the curse of the law (Col 2:14),
it is talking about the enmity between Jews and Gentiles (Eph 2:11-12),
because of the law's regulations which caused Jews to look down on Gentiles as unclean,
and creating great enmity between them.

Hebrews 9:1
(1) Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

The ordinaces had to do with the sanctuary. The earthly sanctuary was a copy of the one in heaven. Why would we still do any services related to the sanctuary after Jesus had died?
The ordinances of the sanctuary are not all of the ordinances of the law.

There is no Biblical basis for maintaining that the ordinances of Eph 2:15 is limited to the ordinances of Heb 9:1 regarding the sanctuary.

Nor does the text of Eph 2:14-16 support that notion:

The law with it commandments and regulations were abolished in the flesh of Christ (Eph 2:15),
thus destroying the wall of hostility between Jews and Gentiles (2:14)
because the Law caused Jews to view Gentiles as unclean, creating great hostility.

In abolishing the wall of hostility which was the law with it commands and regulations,
Jesus abolished two hostilities on the cross:
1) by abolishing in his flesh the wall which separated them, he abolished the hostility
between Jews and Gentiles, creating one new man of the two. (2:14,15), and
2) by his atoning sacrifice, he abolished the hostility between God and sinful mankind
by reconciling that one new man (of Jews and Gentiles; i.e., believing mankind) to himself (2:16).

So what was abolished on the cross was
the hostility between Jews and Gentiles (2:14), and
the hostility between God and mankind (2:15),
both caused by the law with its commands and regulations (2:15).

Why does Romans 8 say: " the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh"

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

One that is a part of the covenant ratified in the blood of the Messiah, has the Law of Yahweh or more accurately the Torah, written on their heart, how could one constantly try to find ways to ignore it, believe it shouldn't be followed, it shouldn't be read, or it applies no longer if they are truly a part of this covenant? I believe the only reason I love His instructions is because Yahweh has put this on my heart, years ago when I was lost I certainly did not enjoy His Instructions.

Yeremyah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."
