If your Bible says...

Exo 20:1 And Moses spake all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2 I am Moses, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Please return it. It contains dangerous misprints.

If your Bible says...

Lev 1:1 And Moses spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

Please return it. It contains dangerous misprints.

If your Bible says...

Deu 5:6 I am Moses, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

Please return it. It contains dangerous misprints.
Good advice.

Eph 2:14-16 is about the two hostilities Christ abolished on the cross
when he abolishd the law in his flesh:

1) hostility between Jew and Gentile (V. 15), and
2) hostility between God and mankind (v. 16, Jews and Gentiles).
What was the basis of the hatred? The Law?
Yes, for the Jews it was the cleanliness laws, which rendered a Jew unclean if he touched an unclean Gentile.

For God, it was the curse of the law making all mankind his enemies (Ro 5:10).

So, in abolishing the law in his flesh, Jesus also abolished two hatreds:

1) of the Jews for the Gentiles, and vice versa,
1) of God against his enemies (Ro 5:10).

No, John your mistaking me for Elin who enjoys mastering the art of playing with serpents,
I dont debate I post verses to threads to be helpful, to show confirmations, I dont wrangle, and I dont care much for interogation.

Elin could probably even tell you the same, as thats never been my MO

I enjoy watching her step on snakes though, shes always been fun to watch
Absolutely. . .she simply shares her marvelous grasp of the Scriptures.

You don't know the difference between pharisee law and Yah's Law.... And yes I am stating that. (unless)

you purposely worded that as to be "technically" true...

TRUE

Yes, for the Jews it was the cleanliness laws, which rendered a Jew unclean if he touched an unclean Gentile.

FALSE

Yes, for the Jews it was the cleanliness laws, which rendered a Jew unclean if he touched an Gentile.

Isayah 42:21, "Yahweh is well-pleased, for His righteousness' sake, to magnify the Law, and make it honorable"

Matt 5:17-18, "Do not even think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them. For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Isayah 42:21, "Yahweh is well-pleased, for His righteousness' sake, to magnify the Law, and make it honorable"

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Isayah 42:21, "Yahweh is well-pleased, for His righteousness' sake, to magnify the Law, and make it honorable"

Mattithyah 19:17-21, "But He said to him: Why do you question Me about righteousness? There is only One Who is the standard of perfection, and that is Yahweh; so if you would enter into life, keep the Laws of Yahweh. He then asked Yahshua; Which ones? Yahshua said: You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false testimony. Honor your efather and mother, and; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The young man said to Him; All these things I have kept from my youth up; what do I yet lack? Yahshua said to him: If you want to come to the perfection of Yahweh, go and sell of what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and you will be walking in Yahweh's ways, and following Me."

Isayah 42:21, "Yahweh is well-pleased, for His righteousness' sake, to magnify the Law, and make it honorable"

Mattithyah 5:20-30, "For I say to you: Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will certainly not enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh. You have heard that it was said by the people of ancient times: You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment; But I say to you: Whoever is angry with his brother will be in danger of the judgment! Again, anyone who says; Raca! insulting your brother, will be in danger of the Sanhedrin, but whoever says: Nabel! desiring them to fall away, will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you; Leave your gift there before the altar, and go first and be reconciled with your brother; then come and offer your gift. Settle a controversy with your accuser quickly, before he gets you into court; or your adversary may deliver you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be put into prison. Truly I say to you: You will never come out of there until you have paid the last penny. You have heard that it was said by the people of ancient times: You shall not commit adultery; But I say to you: Whoever looks on a woman with lust for her, has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So if your right eye causes you to offend; sin, gouge it out and throw it from you! For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for the whole body to be cast into Gehenna. Or if your right hand causes you to offend, cut it off and throw it from you! For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for the whole body to be cast into Gehenna."

Isayah 8:20, "To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

SO if one completely ignores the "Laws" that are written and thinks "those Laws have no power over them".... How are they going o obey? Are they going to make a "law" and "spirit" of their imagination and whatever they think is a sin to them is a sin......[/
QUOTE]
You make no allowance for the Holy Spirit writing God's law on the heart, giving one to know what is loving and not loving without a myriad of written regulations.

Isayah 59:21, "As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Yahweh: My Spirit which is upon you, namely My Word (Instructions) which I have put in your mouth; they will not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed's seed, says Yahweh: from this time and forevermore."

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Matt 15:7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isayah prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

Isayah 29:13-14, "Therefore Yahweh said: Because these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their reverence to Me is taught by the precept of men; Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom oftheir wise men will perish, and the understanding oftheir prudent men; discerning, will be hid."

Re posting in hopes some may read... and see the difference between Yah's Law and pharisee law...

What was the basis of the hatred? The Law?

No it was the Pharisees law that Yahshua continually mocked...

For the Law of Yahweh says:

Numbers 15:15-16, "One ordinance shall be for you of the congregation, and for the stranger who sojourns with you, as an ordinance forever throughout your generations. As you are, so shall the stranger be in front of Yahweh. One Law and one manner shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you."

Exodus 12:48-49, "And when a stranger lives among you and wants to sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near, and sacrifice it; and he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. One Law shall be for the nativeborn and for the stranger who dwells among you."

Leviticus 19:18, "Do not seek revenge nor bear a grudge against one of your own people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh."

Leviticus 19:34, "The stranger living with you must be treated as one of your native-born, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh."

but the Pharisees taught:

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 57a
‘For murder, whether of a Cuthean by a Cuthean, or of an Israelite by a Cuthean, punishment is incurred; but of a Cuthean by an Israelite, there is no death penalty.

Talmud - Mas. Baba Metzia 114b
For it has been taught: R. Simeon b. Yohai said: The graves of Gentiles do not defile, forit is written, And ye my flock, the flock of my pastures, are men;5 only ye are designated ‘men’

Talmud Moed Kattan 17a
Rabbi Ila'i said: If a person is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he is not known, dress in black clothes, cover his head in black, and do what his heart desires.

Yahshua made a spectacle, disarming them:

Yahchanan (John) 15:22, "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had their sins revealed; but now they have no cloak, (covering for), their sins. He who hates Me, also hates MyFather."

Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

Ephesians 2:16, "That would reconcile both in one body to Yahweh through the sacrifice--having killed the enmity through Himself."

They made the "law" evil, He restored it...

Ephesians 2:15-16, "Abolishing the enmity Law, the Commandments, and the Ordinances, through His own flesh, in order to create in Himself one new man from the two; making peace, That would reconcile both in one body to Yahweh through the sacrifice--having killed the enmity through Himself."

enmity is:
Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon)

Feminine of G2190; hostility; by implication a reason for opposition:—enmity, hatred.

He abolished the hatred of the Law;

I've bolded it in your post above.

You are so worried about "gettin" me that you miss Scripture... for I post this a ton...

You are in error, for Scripture says:

Isayah 59:21, "As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Yahweh: My Spirit which is upon you, namely My Word (Instructions) which I have put in your mouth; they will not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed's seed, says Yahweh: from this time and forevermore."

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

Oh are those Scripture not in your "accepted" list?...

Elin did you learn about Jesus by closing your eyes or did you read about Him and grow? (of course He guides our lives, with His power, but did you read of Him and what He said or not?)

So is only "no allowance for the Holy Spirit" when I read to learn?

and one reads and the Spirit brings understanding, not close your eyes and whoosh.... easier to walk in your imagination and say the Sabbath is changed, x-mas is not pagan, and reading the Instructions are wrong with ones eyes closed tho ....

Yeremyah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

"Law" is word #H8451 - torah - torah: direction, instruction, law Original Word: תּוֹרָה Part of Speech: Noun Feminine Transliteration: torah

My mistake.

See Jer 31:33.

Never said there is or should be sacrifice or priesthood here on earth ;

As explained here ;

I know that you did not say that, but I was adding more information. Also Deuteronomy 28 has blessing and curses. Blessing for obedience curses for disobedience. We know Israel was disobedient and all the curses in this chapter came upon them. The Bible says Jesus became a curse, He took the curses away and if He is our saviour then the curses which should be ours are His.

Maybe you missed, I also have question for you? please? If you want me to know truth would you answer? (I am answer your question soon as I send this)

Elin did you learn about Jesus by closing your eyes or did you read about Him and grow? (of course He guides our lives, with His power, but did you read of Him and what He said or not?)

Ok sorry, I misunderstood you, my fault. Im with you in this matter.

My mistake.

See Jer 31:33.

Np it happens.

OK here we go;

Isaiah 34:16, World English Bible
"Search in the book of Yahweh, and read: not one of these will be missing. none will lack her mate. For my mouth has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them."

So we are told to read, Im not going to "hell" for reading just yet.... whheeeeeew!
Ok not out of the woods yet.
(*tells self*, dont get ahead of yourself scooter! for there are more Scriptures!)

So His Spirit is His word, so if I read the word will tell me the same thing the Spirit will... or else why would He provide a book?

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

Messiah agrees, "The Words that I speak to you, they are Spirit"

Ezekiyl 36:26-28, "A new heart; mind, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

OK, so according to this if one has His Spirit they will, "I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them" Glad that verse didn't say He will cause us to ignore them, or I would be in trouble....

Yeremyah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

"Law" is word #H8451 - Torah: direction, instruction, law Original Word: תּוֹרָה Part of Speech: Noun Feminine Transliteration: torah

So He says, "I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts" Hmm, so I think it will be that said person will love it it will be in their heart and mind... Maybe He led me to read and learn and His Spirit guided me to right understanding?

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them."

Same, as it's a quote from Yeremyah.

John 7:16-17 "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching--whether it comes from Yahweh, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."

Hmm, now I think He said, " If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching--whether it comes from Yahweh" because what the Messiah says lines up PERFECTLY with what Yahweh spoke through Mosheh and the Prophets...

John 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

Well I want to follow His words, man, I wonder if there is a place I can read them, but Elin says Im "not in the Spirit" if I read the Instructions.... Hmmm, well lets see;

Acts 5:29, "Then Kepha and the other apostles answered, and said; We must obey Yahweh rather than men."

Got it!
"Search in the book of Yahweh, and read!"

Isaiah 34:16, (World English Bible)
"Search in the book of Yahweh, and read: not one of these will be missing. none will lack her mate. For my mouth has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them."

praise Yahweh for He has left testimony in the earth!

My mistake.

See Jer 31:33.

So I have another question for you, I hope you answer the other one, but;

Jeremiah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

So I assume you do not read the "Law"

SO do you,

Keep the 7th day set aside?

Not make the name of Yahweh empty?

I am not implying you don't nor am I judging you if you don't I just want to commend you if you do because, if you have never read, and you do those things, wow, you must be in perfect "tune" with the Spirit of Yah... I mean, I have never met anyone that did not read the book yet knew all that was in it, maybe Messiah, IDK, but wow if you do praise Yahweh for that! Praise Him either way but wow if so!

I heard someone say one time;

"There are many things we should pray for answers for but some things are so clearly written that there is no need to pray, for our Father has already spoken in these matters."

I personally thought that was a valid point. What do you think on that matter?

Elin did you learn about Jesus by closing your eyes or did you read about Him and grow? (of course He guides our lives, with His power, but did you read of Him and what He said or not?)

So is only "no allowance for the Holy Spirit" when I read to learn?

and one reads and the Spirit brings understanding, not close your eyes and whoosh.... easier to walk in your imagination and say the Sabbath is changed, x-mas is not pagan, and reading the Instructions are wrong with ones eyes closed tho ....

Maybe you missed, I also have question for you? please? If you want me to know truth would you answer? (I am answer your question soon as I send this)
I know the disposition of loving and unloving (Christ's command) from the Holy Spirit who writes it on my heart.

I know gospel doctrine from reading the Scriptures in the gift of faith (Php 1:29).
