We are told that the end days will be a lot like the end days in Noah's time. Do you see anything today that makes you think of this?

Not quite the same. A promise made not to repeat it that way.
Isaiah 54
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee;
but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment;
but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,
saith the Lord thy Redeemer.
9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me:
for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth;
so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

I kind of know what you mean. But back in those days, long ago, they had drugs also:

Deu 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

Look at the definition of 'gall':

H7219
רושׁ ראשׁ
rô'sh rôsh
roshe, roshe
Apparently the same as H7218; a poisonous plant, probably the poppy (from its conspicuous head); generally poison (even of serpents): - gall, hemlock, posion, venom.

It's the poppy plant. The source of drugs or narcotics.

Did i said I doubted it?

Additionally! I would bet Lot´s daughthers used them to hook their dad...

Luke 17:26-30

26 "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed {them} all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

Fallen Angels = Demons. They still able to travel to other dimensions, so always been here.

What I think is meant is Nephilim or Angel human hybrids.

How do you know they are not?...

It's not that I know they are not. I'm curious whether they actually are here. In Daniel, it says that they get here before the devil. In Revelation, it says they come and are given power 'as kings'. I'm suspicious that they might already be here as far back as when Israel became a nation and are setting things up for the devils arrival. It's just a curious thought though.

It seems that that annihilation was for those who had a living breath... Except those "spirits" died by immersion, same way we were baptized in water.

Yep, monkeying around with human DNA.

Messing around with the dna I think is a big deal. There has always been murder, theft, sexual immorality, etc, But messing with the dna is unique to this age. The nanotechnology is just as scary, implanting chips in your head to force all access to your brain and giving you lightning fast processing speed. They have all of this in the works as we speak. The scientist that speak about this stuff always have the same catch phrase “we can create gods” or “we can be gods”. I cant think of anything more provoking. Gives me cold shivers.

If you have angels mating with human women, I would think that it is pretty much messing around with DNA.

i agree, its the same thing to me. there is a natural order to things, this is how our Lord designed our world. trying to create life out side of this natural way is very arrogant.

I agree with you.

many speculate the tower of babel was not so much a tall tower but more like a dimensional gate way to the heavens.

Aren´t we living in a twofold dimensional life?

The eternal, which is the living spirit we´ve been granted and the short-termed, the earthly and fleshy we enjoy as long as we´re healthy on earth.

That's quite a stretch. Based on the text, we can tell that the tower of Babel was meant to have some significance in relation to surviving another Great Flood (eg. the bitumen used wasn't necessary but suggests waterproofing properties in the construction of the tower). Naturally those who didn't trust God or no longer believed in Him, feared another world-wide Flood. That is despite God's rainbow of promise in the sky, given to Noah and his family post-Flood.

i think we are. physical/flesh is one dimension, spirit is the other. our spirit is what connects us to our Lord and heaven. i also think spirit is what gives us our emotions, love, compassion, etc. this is what separates us from other animals of the natural world.

its just an opinion, but what ever the tower was, it brought down a pretty bad judgment from the Lord. the commissioning king was Nimrod. his name/title is translated: rebeller, we shall rebel, to rebel against our Lord. Nimrod is big in other ancient traditions. he was full of arrogance, a conqueror of kingdoms, and possibly had ambitions of conquering the heavens.

A couple of points and maybe a question or two....

1. What scripture leads to this conclusion
2. All 8 people left alive had survived based upon God's promise to preserve them.
3. God set his bow and promised that he would never again destroy the world by flood
4. Noah and his sons would have taught their children the promises of God

So, how did you come to this conclusion?

The story states clearly their purpose was to reach and or storm heaven...not to survive another flood....so...unsure why you came to that conclusion....?

Not being mouthy, just asking why the context of the account is not sufficient to come to the conclusion that they wanted to reach heaven.....

Even though Enoch and Jasher did not make the cannonization of scripture they do give an account of the why's and what happened following which jives with the Genesis account.....
