This is 100% true, however lets look at the few verses around this...

Romans 13:9-14, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law. Put On Yahshua Messiah And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us throw off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the daytime; not in revelry and drunkenness, not in sexual impurity and debauchery, not in strife and envy. Rather, humble yourself to our Ruler, Yahshua Messiah, and put a stop to providing for the lusts of the flesh."

1 Yahchanan (John) 3:4, "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 Yahchanan (John) 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws (Commandments/Instructions). For this is the love of Yahweh: That we keep His Law (Commandments/Instructions), and His Law (Commandments/Instructions) is not grievous."

Law (Commandments/Instructions) = 1785 - entolé
Strong's Concordance
entolé: an injunction, order, command
Original Word: ἐντολή, ῆς, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: entolé
Phonetic Spelling: (en-tol-ay')
Short Definition: an ordinance, injunction, command
Definition: an ordinance, injunction, command, law

Yahdah 1:4, "For there are certain men who have secretly crept in, who were before of old ordained for this condemnation, unholy men, who turn the undeserved pardon of our One Supreme Savior Yahweh into licentiousness, and deny Yahshua our Messiah."

2 Timothy 3:5, "Having a form of holiness, but denying the authority of it--from such turn away!"

2 Timothy 3, "Know this also: that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers; without a truce, unforgiving, false accusers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of those who are righteous, Traitors; betrayers, headstrong, arrogant, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of Yahweh, Having a form of holiness, but denying the authority of it--from such turn away! For they are the sort who creep into The Houses of Yahweh, and lead away silly women who are loaded down with sins, captured by various lusts, Always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Iannes, and Iambres opposed Mosheh, so also do these men oppose the truth--men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they will proceed no further; for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was! But from me, you have closely followed the teaching, the conduct, the purpose; intention, the faith, the longsuffering, the love, the patience; perseverance, The persecutions, and the afflictions, which came upon me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra--which persecutions I endured, and out of them all, Yahweh delivered me. Yes, and all who will live righteously, as Yahshua Messiah, will suffer persecution. But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in the things which you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from Whom you have learned them; And that from a child you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation, through the faith which is in Yahshua Messiah. All Scripture is given through inspiration of Yahweh is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of Yahweh may become perfect, thoroughly furnished for every righteous work."

John 7:16-17 "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching--whether it comes from Yahweh, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."

John 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

SO "standing upright" is not about walking in a righteous manner? But about "meant mankind to stand upright, not slumped over like and animal "Whaaaaaaaat! LOL and im called a "pharisee type" LOL
Again you conveniently leave out:

Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

New International Version Matt 23:2-3
"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach."

King James Bible Matt 23:2-3
"Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not
."

Shem Tob's Hebrew Mattithyah
Mattithyah 23:2-3, "The Pharisees and Sages sit upon the seat of Mosheh. Therefore, all that he (Mosheh) says to you, diligently do, but according to thier takanot (reforms) and thier ma'asim (precedents) do not do, because they talk (Torah) but they do not do."

Takanot: reforms or enactments that (falsely) "change or add" to
Yahweh's Law.

Ma'asim: acts or deeds that serve as precedents for rabbinic law.

Both Takanot and Ma'asim are laws of the Talmud.

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

1 Yahchanan (John) 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 Yahchanan (John) 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father: Yahshua Messiah, the Righteous; and He is the sacrifice of atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 Yahchanan (John) 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Just because we have mercy does not mean we throw all Instructions in the Law of Yahweh in the trash.

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

Jesus has discerned the laws for us since the spirit of God wasn't in us because our hearts were hard to the core. The Pharisees and the rest that were discerning them has came up with their own interpretations of the laws which they had misinterpret them. And so you can say that it were their commandments, not God's. Matthew 15:9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’”

Jesus summed up (His discernment) the laws into two and that is to love the Lord and to love everyone else and He means everyone, but everyone else had came with their own outcome that is fitting for them, like the men treated the women as property, the more money you have, the more wives you can buy; but they didn't take into consideration of the women view point and which they were actually telling the women to shut up and keep on feeding them their peeled grapes by hand and that isn't showing love towards the women at all.
And so they distorted the truth that is fitting for themselves.

John 7:17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. This verse is saying that Jesus' interpretations or discernment isn't of His own heart, but the true understanding of the laws.

Matthew 7:28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,

Matthew 13:54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked.

Mark 1:22 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.

Luke 2:47 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Matthew 12:42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.

I want to add; Judgement is give for the Messiah to fulfill, however calling a sin a sin, is not judging a person...

Before anyone can call something a sin, they must know what is a sin; and I know that showing hatred towards another, like calling them a fool or whatever, is a great sin.

John 6:61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?

My opinion is that Hebrews focuses on abolishment of that part of the Old Testament that stretches between Exodus 12 and all that came from atop Mt. Sinai, specifically Moses' book of the covenant. That puts all from the first Passover to the end of the book of the covenant, i.e. the end of Deuteronomy as abolished in Christ. Genesis is very important to Christianity, and the balance of the old testament from Joshua and the remaining 33 books are not the book of the law, but record the rise and fall of Israel in the aftermath of giving of the law they couldn't keep, and revelations of Jesus and the new covenant to come. I'll add there are many other valuable lessons in the old testament, such as wisdom of Solomon. I can't see the entire OT as obsolete. I know that a person will not need to read or hear a word of the OT in order to be born again, making the OT obsolete for that specific purpose.

Everything of good substance of the Mosaic covenant is better said without curses in the New Covenant. The other covenants of the old testament are still in effect, very much valuable as part basis of the New Covenant, chiefly the Adamic, Noahic, and Abrahamic, (all older than the Mosaic) and the Davidic (unconditional). Those ran simultaneously past the Mosaic covenant. None of those non-Mosaic covenants required an earthly priesthood, nor does the New Covenant, which has the heavenly priesthood after the order of Melchizedek.

The condemnation of the law.......!

Galatians 3:13,(KJV) "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangeth on a tree."

He has removed the death penalty for those who are in Messiah, certainly this is a mercy beyond what I or any human actually deserves.

Psalm 37:39, "The salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh! He is our strength in the time of trouble!"

Psalm 40:16, "May all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You! May those who love Your Salvation always say: May Yahweh be magnified!"

Revelation 1:1-3,
"The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place.....for the time is near."

Revelation 1:1-3, "The Revelation of Yahshua Messiah, which Yahweh gave to Him, to show His servants things which must shortly come to pass.....for the time is at hand."

John 6:61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?

Im not sure what you are implying... That anything that offends another is a sin? If you are saying that, I disagree, if that were so carrying a bible would be a "sin" because there will be people offended simply by that...

John 6
60When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” 61But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? 62Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) 65And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

Here is what Paul said in the matter:

Romans 7:7 What? Can anyone therefore say that the Law is sin? No! By no means! But to the contrary, I did not know sin; transgression of the Law, except through the Law, for I did not know lust, unless the Law had said: Do not covet.

12 Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous.

13 Did that which is righteous, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through that which was righteous, so that through the commandments, sin might become utterly sinful.

The Old Covenant and the Old Way. Showing it was just a shadow of what was to come.

The Perfect Priest!;

Hebrews 4:1-15, "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest Who has ascended into the heavens: Yahshua the Son of Yahweh, let us hold fast our profession. For we do not have a High Priest Who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all ways tempted as we are--yet was without sin."

Hebrews 9:11-12, "But the Messiah came near as a High Priest over the righteous things to come, with the great and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation; Nor through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once, for all, having obtained eternal redemption."

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Leviticus 17:11 [SUP] [/SUP]For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

If God be for us (And Has Given His Blood for our Atonement) who can be against us?

What's been abolished? Our percieved "righteousness" of "obedience" to the law. The veil has been lifted and we see ourselves as we are. Sinners in need of a Saviour. And our Saviour Provides everything a sinner needs.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

amen, if we no longer see ourselves as sinners. We have not come to a complete knowledge of the law.

Ha ha. Good Question.

What are my views of you so I can stop doing it? I don't know what inner vies are...

I was "quick draw" on that one, I apologize, didnt say it right.

What I really mean, is, it seems that you are not really reading the verses or thinking im intending them to mean something other than what I am intending them to mean.

Yes I believe we as followers of the Most High are supposed to obey His Law, never did I say that a sin here or there takes ones salvation....

A change in "walk" as in a total turning away from His path is dangerous unto etrenal death imo, where focus and walking on His path are eternal life....

My point is that it more than just believe it's "hear and obey"

But obey what He SAY not what we think or want to, now it's is up to me personally to "work out my salvation" (bad wording IMO) but it is true, its up to me to find and hold onto what He requires....

hence.... His path...

Your opinion is wrong.

I know you believe that way. I will teach the truth. My opinion about Hebrews, though, is based on the text of Hebrews. It explains why the Mosaic can't stand, is abolished, having no priesthood to administer it. There are no lawful sacrifices for the sins of people under the Law, yet can't possibly keep it. God rejected the nation, the people, their religion because they rejected God.

In the future God will save a remnant of them as a restored nation, maybe even a large number of those alive now. The same prophets that foretold that also delivered the divorce decree from God on the grounds of idolatry, specifically spiritual adultery.

Jesus is administering the New Covenant from Heaven, having sent the Holy Spirit here to teach it. It is then apparent that you reject that book, which supports the doctrines of the New Covenant, leaving you opposed to a large part of the New Testament scriptures contained in all the letters of Paul, Peter, James, John and Jude.

I was "quick draw" on that one, I apologize, didnt say it right.

What I really mean, is, it seems that you are not really reading the verses or thinking im intending them to mean something other than what I am intending them to mean.

Yes. For a second I thought you were understanding the gospel.

Yes I believe we as followers of the Most High are supposed to obey His Law, never did I say that a sin here or there takes ones salvation....

I believe the same thing. I just don't believe it is through the fleshly following and "keeping" the 10 commandments. I believe the 10 commandments are a description of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:2-3
[SUP]2 [/SUP]This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? [SUP]3 [/SUP]Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

The obvious answer to those who KNOW the gospel is no. I am not made perfect by my flesh. My carnal understanding of working at the 10 commandments doesn't cause anything but condemnation. That is what knowledge of sin is. That is what the 10 commandments do.

The Holy Spirit, on the other hand, reminds us of what the Lord Jesus has done for us and has said to us. In this there is no condemnation, only redemption.

To further amplify this point I ask what law is broken by any of the fruit of the Spirit? If the obvious answer is none then why in the wide world of sports do people think that obedience to God is through our work at the 10 commandments?? Shouldn't our obedience to God, in every facet of our lives, be the coming to Christ and resting from our works? So that He can grow the Holy Spirit in us?

Hebrews 4

So the most evil thing we can do is follow what He says? ,,,,, an odd time indeed.

Yes. For a second I thought you were understanding the gospel.

I believe the same thing. I just don't believe it is through the fleshly following and "keeping" the 10 commandments. I believe the 10 commandments are a description of the Holy Spirit.

How can we say we know Him if;

Romans 13:9-10, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."

1 John 2:3-6, "And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of Yah is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked." (ESV)

Ezekiyl 36:26-28, "A new heart; mind, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

The obvious answer to those who KNOW the gospel is no. I am not made perfect by my flesh. My carnal understanding of working at the 10 commandments doesn't cause anything but condemnation. That is what knowledge of sin is. That is what the 10 commandments do.

He guides to do His will.

The Holy Spirit, on the other hand, reminds us of what the Lord Jesus has done for us and has said to us. In this there is no condemnation, only redemption.

Hebrews 4

How can we walk in His Spirit and go against everything His Spirit says?

Isayah 59:21, "As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Yahweh: My Spirit which is upon you, namely My Word (Instructions) which I have put in your mouth; they will not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed's seed, says Yahweh: from this time and forevermore."

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

Yahchanan (John) 14:26, "But the Comforter--the Holy Spirit which Yahweh will send in My Name will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I (Yahshua/Jesus) have said to you."

1 Yahchanan 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 Yahchanan 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father: Yahshua Messiah, the Righteous; and He is the sacrifice of atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

There is only one standard (narrow path), all the rest are man made (broad path)...

Matt 15:7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isayah prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

Mattithyah 22:36-40, "Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law? Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Yes. For a second I thought you were understanding the gospel.

John 10:16, "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd (4166. poimén)."

Yahchanan (John) 14:23, "Yahshua answered, and said to him: If a man loves Me, he will keep My teachings and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

John 10:27-30, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; neither will any man snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand: I and My Father are in accord."

Psalm 100:1-5, "Make a joyful shout to Yahweh, all you lands. Serve Yahweh with gladness! Come before His presence with singing! Know that Yahweh is our Father! It is He Who made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His Name! For Yahweh is righteous, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures throughout all generations!"

For Messiah says:

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, Yahweh Shammah, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

Paul says:

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

John says:

1 Yahchanan 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father: Yahshua Messiah, the Righteous; and He is the sacrifice of atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 Yahchanan 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."
