Where in the bible, has anyone inherited God's inheritance through their disobedience?
I should re-state this, for I believe our acceptance is by faith alone in the work performed on the cross by Jesus Christ, however, or obedience to Him is the evidence of a true conversion. Thus, perhaps I should have stated has anyone inherited God's inheritance by remaining disobedient?

Universalism is unbiblical.

The wicked will be cast into the Lake of Fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels. The devil and his angels will not be in heaven anymore than the wicked will be.

Matthew 25:41
"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Side Note:

When I say the "wicked", I am saying anyone who does evil as a way of life; Even false professing believers.

It amuses me that so many people that don't believe the bible take time from their lives to agitate those that do. Tell me, why are you here?
1) to cause disunity in the body of Christ.
2) to show how intelligent/godly he is, or how stupid we are.
3) to kill, steal, and destroy.
4) all of the above.

Since you persist in ignoring the Hebrew and Greek words for the translational argument that you present, you will remain in the "blackness of darkness" concerning the Creator of the Universe being ALL IN ALL.
You're the one who is "ignoring the Greek word" which you posted as alleged proof for your heresy. Again, the same Greek word is used to describe both "EVERLASTING" punishment and "ETERNAL" life whether you like it or not. Therefore, don't waste your time trying to dupe people here into believing that "aionios" ALWAYS "describes LIMITED time periods" BECAUSE IT DOESN'T.

Now, ironically, the rest of the world can grasp this, but you, the self-professed "Messiah" (a priest after the order of Melchisedek according to your own deluded testimony), cannot.

Might I suggest the "milk" of God's Word? It would be a start. Now, are you willing to admit the error that you sought to foist upon the unsuspecting in relation to the Greek word "aionios"? I mean, you might as well admit it. After all, your error has already been exposed for all to see...unless you believe that Christians inherit "limited" life? You don't believe that, do you?

That was my point earlier. If there is eternal life/reward why is hell not eternal.Even though you and I disagree on other issues on this we agree.

I do apologize to the OP/Socrates still.
Even though I don't agree, it was not my intentions to ruin your thread.
You and I have talked politely, this I can respect.
I apologize.

I just get wary of a certain televangelist type preacher here, who loves to talk.

yes, me too. i'm late to the party and haven't read all the pages, but when i read the statement that "eternal" means "age-long" and not necessarily "everlasting" -- hang on, that's the same word used saying those that believe on the Son will inherit "eternal" life. double standard anyone? yes, (checking recent comments), double-standard.

my opinion of what justice is doesn't constrain God.
gotta humble that mind before His word, right?

I get weary of the people who try to confound and confuse the very simple gospel of Jesus. Sure, God's word is complex and can take you down many a rabbit hole but it is also simple in that all you have to do is....love the Lord yourGod with all your heart mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself.

They are both "eternal" as the same underlying Greek word was used in the same utterance of Jesus to describe two similar periods of time.

As far as our disagreements are concerned, I'm still confident that we'll eventually hash those out if we civilly look at scriptures together. Right now, I really am strapped for time, but I still hope to start the thread that I mentioned the other day when I have a block of time available to me to do so.

Later...

Where is free will? The Bible says "choose you this day whom you will serve".If we all end up saved in the end then why did Christ have to die.Why share the Gospel. Why strive to live a sin free life if it wont matter in the end?

?????

I surely don't understand your post. Those who strive to overcome receive eternal life, those who reject Christ are put to death. What do you mean it won't matter?

Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Any scripture for that?
Let's start with a very basic scripture...

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Here we see two possible outcomes, everlasting life or death. The word for perish is...

G622

ἀπόλλυμι
apollumi
ap-ol'-loo-mee
From G575 and the base of G3639; to destroy fully (reflexively to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively: - destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.
Total KJV occurrences: 92

No life in some other place of torment, no purifying in fire, TOTAL DESTRUCTION.

By the way, you are teaching some crazy purifying in the fire false doctrine that is certainly not new. Catholics have been teaching purgatory for centuries.

Matthew 8 [SUP]
24[/SUP] And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.[SUP]25[/SUP] And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
Same greek word here for "perish" - do you think the disciples were concerned about going to endless torture?- lol:cool:
Why would anyone foolishly assume "perish" means that in John 3:16?

Your problem is that you don't understand that life and death on this earth, carnally, is far, far different from eternal life and death.
Eternal life is living in the presence of God. Eternal death is separation form Him.
All souls, which all of us are born with, are eternal.
The only question is where you will spend yours.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
How can you say there is no hell when that is where you got your doctrine?
