Don Quixote: Dost not see? A monstrous giant of infamous repute whom I intend to encounter.
Sancho Panza: It's a windmill.
Don Quixote: A giant. Canst thou not see the four great arms whirling at his back?
Sancho Panza: A giant?
Don Quixote: Exactly.

I do not know if anyone answered this yet, but what is the OSAS viewpoint on the words of Jesus saying that if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven? So far, folks seemed to be avoiding this one. Why is that? If I missed the reply, then I apologize. But I really would love to know. I just can't see how you can twist the plain meaning of that verse.
He is speaking of a believer asking forgiveness for sin.
He will not forgive the believer if he does not forgive those who sin against him.
It has nothing to do with salvation, but when a child of God sins and the Holy Spirit convicts him.

opinion is up to you. you can choose, what you want to hear or believe.

and the truth will set you free."

Oh good. Then maybe you can set some truth free for me then. Folks appeared to have not answered or explained a simple verse in the Bible in light of OSAS's sin and still be saved doctrine. How do you explain Jesus' words that says if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven?

when did law or an action save you. or others opinion . define evil, if your saved by grace a gift.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.Romans 8:

up to you, who you want to believe jesus, or human endeavors to prove things to you.

Not all OSAS proponents are alike. I have a close friend who believes in OSAS Lite. It is the teaching that you cannot practice sin otherwise you never knew God. While I disagree with even with this form of OSAS, I can say he is my brother because he does not make excuses for sin for any believer. So when I say OSAS.... I am referring to Classic OSAS and not OSAS Lite. Classic OSAS and Mid Range OSAS both teach that you can sin and still be saved. This is what I am fighting. Evil. People trying to do evil.
Just how many OSAS do you really know. a 100, mabe 1000.
There a millions of us.

again you speculate on how you get forgiveness.

my bible tells me different.

the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

Now, I see why people have avoided in explaining this. What you said doesn't make any sense. The Scriptures say the Father will not fogive you of your trespasses if you do not forgive others.

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
(Matthew 6:15).

No, you have to keep reading. Romans 6 says shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? Paul replies. God forbid. He says you are servants to whom you obey. Whether sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness. Paul also says be not deceived, the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Then Paul lists certain sins like murder, hate, adultery, etc. John also lists these sins in Revelation 21:8. It says all liars (not just unbelieving liars) will have their part in the Lake of Fire.

Again, Royal Scott. Do not avoid the issue. How do you explain Matthew 6:15 from an OSAS perspective? For how can you not be forgiven by the Father and yet saved?

old covenant and new covenant, at a guess, you need some one to explain the difference between the two, to you brother.

and the time line to the history of the bible.

No, the context does not defend your viewpoint. I do not even know what you are even talking about. It is illogical to think the verse says something different then what it plainly says. If you do not forgive, the Father will not forgive you. How can you be saved if you are not forgiven by the Father? What verse says you can be saved and not forgiven? What you propose is goobley gook none-sense. Explain it to me with the context or otherwise I am going to assume you have no idea what you are talking about.

Simple fact is, I am right and you are wrong.
Actually you are wrong an most things you post on this forum.
I will pray that you learn the truth.

One has to conditionally have faith to be saved. God has a general love for all man-kind but a saving type love for those that are conditionally His children. And one can fall out of that saving love, Jude 1:21....one must continue to conditionally have faith to keep himself in the love of God.
The only condition is that Christ took our sin upon his body, was buried and rose again the third day. Do we believe and trust him on that basis or not. If we do then we are saved through the righteousness of Christ. If we do not believe it then we remain in unbelief without salvation. Walking by faith and keeping ourselves in the love of God deals with our fellowship that we have in Christ and with one another. That is our responsibility as believers and it has nothing to do with our salvation but rather how we walk before and in the Lord.

To say I'm right and your are puts you on a different level. In fact it is saying that I am better than you. We all come to Christ by different means and is difficult for someone to recant what they have been taught. We are family and families quarrel but the family sticks together. I meant why do you think that are so many different churches. Did God have a senior moment or does He know what He is doing. Some go too far I agree. But if a brother thinks that once he is saved he is always saved. Then if he is really saved and has a relationship with God he will find that not to be true. Why, because the Holy Spirit will point out sins in their life and if they refuse to repent or grow. Then the sin nature will revive and once again rule them as slaves. Then when they realize this they will either repent or be lost to sin in rebellion. The prodigal son is a perfect example.

People don't realize how important what they are being taught is. They say well my mother went to this church and my grandmother and her mother so this is my church. Not so, If you look at revelations Jesus is on the outside knocking at the beginning He is the midst of the seven Churches but ends up knocking on the outside and appealing to individuals and not churches.

This is where we are in the time clock of God. Most churches would kick Jesus out and tell Him not to come back.

how can paul say saved by grace then saved by an action. your logic is logic. even paul told you this.
0 Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?11 But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will."
Acts 15

there is difference between running a church and religion taboos and dogmas. again you cant define evil or good. because you were never saved by your self.
so what make you think 2015 is the same as 2000 years ago.

define liar, as again i said its up to you, what you choose to believe or reject in scripture.

your only as good as your teacher, not better.

I am no more rightious that anyone else on this forum.
I am a sinner saved by grace.
I sin daily.
I confess those sins to my Heveanly Father and ask forgiveness every day.
With that said, I stand by my statement about being right.
