And the hit's (pun intended) keep on coming-

Psalm 22:27
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations s
hall worship before You.

When God says ALL, He means ALL.
when he says families he doesn't mean each individual.
when he said every nation will be blessed by the seed that proceeded out of Abraham, he means every nation not every individual.
when he says He will bless those that bless him and curse those that curse him, he means bless and he also means curse.

Yes it does, because Jesus said he shall draw all men unto himself. Ever heard or read that one. You can Google it.

Socrates, you overlook this scripture...

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The wages of sin is not purgatory, being purified in the fire, it is death. Death for all eternity.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

so when He says "Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."

what He really means is 'everyone will enter the kingdom whether they do the will of the Father or not, believe or not, whatever. errybody gets saved in the end and it's really no matter whether you listen to me now or later or not at all"

really?? you see no problem with that at all?

The Will of the Father is to Believe INTO JESUS, then you ENTER THE KINGDOM - No More Death. There is no death in Jesus.
All depends on your perspective.

I do just not according to your twist of things.
well according to him, we're perfectly safe to completely ignore him, since no matter what we do or believe, we'll all be corrected and purified by the lake of fire. given that, i'm not sure why he thinks it's so important to become followers of him, but you know, probably this enormous plank in my eye.

good thing wood is flammable eh

The twist will get so tight you won't be able to breath - you are flat out "denying the Lord that bought you" (II Peter 2:1).

Jesus said it, not me. How demonic can you get?

here is what Jesus said:

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
(John 3:18)

but you are telling us that salvation in no way depends on accepting Him, because whether we accept Him or not we'll be brought into Him.

now who is denying Him? the one who affirms what He says:

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.
(John 3:36)

or the one who says everyone who rejects the Son will inherit eternal life regardless, and that God's wrath does not remain on anyone?

And in the end, Jesus says, Behold I make ALL THINGS NEW (Rev 21:5).

If you live after the flesh you will die and not inherit Life on Earth. You blew it.

NLT - that is one demonic translation of that verse - the greek states, "not forgiven in this age or the age to come" - age of law and church age. another simple answer.
Jesus is a cool dude - he has no interest in torturing people.
Where, sir, is you respect for the Savior? Where is your appreciation for the sacrifice of the only begotten Son of God?

Usually not much shocks me but "Jesus is a cool dude?" I am ashamed when I read that and wonder do you even have an inkling of Who He is, the glory and the majesty...I'm really stunned by your statement, it just seems to denigrate all that Jesus has done, is doing and will do.

No religious spirit here. I am free. Jesus is in the process of "making all things new" - Revelation 21:5

What don't you get? - JESUS IS ONE GROOVY CAT - "THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH" - Revelation 5:5:cool:

That is your IF, not mine.

The reward is the Life of Jesus - and the meek shall inherit the Earth - Matt 5:5

You might as well give up - I have heard it all.

Are you writing a book of what words can and cannot be used in describing the Infinite?

Cool, Awesome, Intense, Grand, Expeditious, Ineffable, Alluring...which of those words would you advise the "church" not to use?

Would love to see you stand up in front of a bunch of college kids and tell them which words they are not allowed to use to describe God.

What a joke.

It is obvious that the dead Greek poet sits a little to long at the bar of hemlock....as his views especially calling Jesus a cool dude rejects and dishonors the fact that he is LORD of heaven and earth!
