President Obama will not meet with Benjamin Netanyahu when the Israeli prime minister visits Washington, D.C. on March 3, saying the date’s proximity to the Israeli election could unduly influence the vote’s outcome.

The Obama administration reacted angrily on Wednesday after House Speaker John Boehner invited Netanyahu to address Congress without consulting the White House, calling the move a breach of protocol.

And on Thursday, Democrats ratcheted up their rhetoric against the visit as the White House announced they would not be rolling out the welcome mat for the Israeli leader.

Yes the whole system is a bunch of over paid whine babies from the democrats to the republicans.
Instead of working together and getting stuff done, they are both spending more time whining about what the other is doing. If both sides spent as much time working on policies as they do whining, maybe something would get done. I thought maybe a new republican congress after this last election would change all that, but they have come in whining just as much as the last group.
 
I think it's the other way around. Netanyahu is coming to speak before Congress and Congress did not ask the White House for permission. That has the White House irked over the matter.

Congress doesn't have to ask the White House for permission. As it stands Netanyahu was invited, even if it is part of a political stunt by the GOP. As a guest and high government servant of our ally Israel he should be received by Obama.

How low can the President sink? I thought he had sunk pretty low when he refused to join arms with the French President, but snubbing the Israeli President for this interview has reached the bottom of the pit.

Saw that on the news while I was trying to eat breakfast. Wanted to puke (sorry for the graphic reference) but had to get off to my job.

Y'all are missing the real humor in this one.............The Press Secretary stated the reason Obama won't meet with old Ben is that he doesn't want to interfere with a Democratic Election about to take place in Israel.

AS IF Obama's meeting with Benji would sway hoards of voters to vote for Benji.................hehe............

Why is this humorous? Well, HOW MANY Democrats in the last election cycle told Obama to STAY AWAY?

If this is ALL ABOUT the election in Israel, then Benji should THANK Obama for not meeting with him.........
 
If obama spent more time snubbing the American citizen we'd be much better off.
