On second thought maybe you and hubby should move to Florida the children down here start at age 65 - I think it is called second childhood and we don't have blizzards except at our local Dairy Queen where they are quite tasty. Blond's way of working with children....

Oh wait, I'm 60 and almost one of them.......

Antonio, te quiero.

(but please don't be sad about it!)

Thanks!

Why would I be sad for it?

Love, sometimes is undeserved, even a simply "I like you, Antonio".

Instead, those words are a gift (at least the time taken to typewrite it).

Thanks! :)

PS

No debate! No debates!

we love one another because Jesus first loved us. :)

Lady Blue, here's a silly anecdote for you--
last night our 20 yo was talking with her dad and asking about the Super Bowl.

(completely seriously) she said, so who's playing against the Pastry-ots?

Hey, it hit me while I was brushing teeth (you know how most people think best while in the bathroom)...
Maybe love is always undeserved because it is priceless? So it cant be bought, just be given freely?

Dunno Sister, iffin someone has a "hot Peach Cobbler............" my love CAN be bought!

:)

“Great is Thy Love, My Cross to Bear”

I hunger not,
But that I hunger after
The love of God,
And in His blessings
Am I filled.

I thirst not,
But that I thirst after
The salvation of God,
And in His grace
Am I saved.

I fear not,
But that I fear after
The Word of God,
And in His wisdom
Am I calm.

I seek not,
But that I seek after
The work of God,
And in His Spirit
Am I employed.

I ask not,
But that I ask after
The Kingdom of God,
And in His divinity
Am I found.

Will you start a debate, since you asked not? :P

Challanging thought I cannot stop myself from having more than one idea.

a) I usually brush my teeth laid on the bed... :D

b) Love is priceless but some might think it could be given after buying a diamon ring (yet others gave themselves for free)

c) It can be bought (and sold out) everywhere a person goes in. It´s up to whomever wants it freely.

someone make me smile..today's a sad day.. :(

Here's something interesting.

The "wax on" and "wax off", defense technique (made popular from the Karate Kid movies?) has proven in the long run, to not be effective in everyday, hand to hand combat situations.

When I go to apply it in a real confrontation.... I end up looking like I'm "just mimicking that I'm polishing a car"....not trying to defend myself.

Luckily for me, my would be attackers just laugh at me and walk away. :(

So in a way, it does work.....
Never mind.
