Cynical and sarcastic are not the same thing, and they do not have to be done out of hatred, anger, or pique. They can be done to tweak the person who needs to be tweaked, particularly after an approach that appeals to the soft, humble side of that person fails to have an effect.
Blue, with utmost respect, I don't need my LMFC to know you haven't expressed feelings yet, and when asked, you place the onus back on the other person. Sirk's right. Just finish this sentence: "When I read your posts describing MM as fat, slobbish, stupid, I felt [name of emotion here]." Thanks in advance.
Sirk's doing an outstanding job of getting to the cause of these emotions. I'd ask how something directed at a famous person I'm assuming -- with considerable self-assurance -- you don't know would make you feel such deep-abiding emotions. I mean, you could have used lighter terminology: Pique. Surprise. Aversion. But you went pretty deep with such strong emotions. As Sirk said, you should try to figure out why.
