Don't worry even if they did do it, they will probably get just a slap on the hand.
Back in the 97 there was a playoff game between Denver and Kansas City. The Denver Broncos got caught during game play with illegal substance on their jersey's that caused Chiefs defenders to not get a good push, and just slide off of them and go face first to the ground. The officials interrupted the game just to make the players go over to the sidelines and use a dry towel to wipe off the substance.
Instead of ejecting those players for cheating, or forfeiting the game. They had them take dry towels and wipe a slick vaseline like substance off. Now if anybody knows anything about jersey's and vaseline, a dry towel would not work. As shown by the players still falling to the ground, and appealing to the officials who did nothing.
