A Jezebel spirit can destroy the stmosphere of worship, fellowshiping, praising and prayer among believers. Jezebel spirit full of jealousy, envy, strife, division, self center, controlling, manipulative, domineering, and malice. A Jezebel spirit will respresent oneself very sweet, innocent, meekness, kind, caring, submissive, but that is a deception.

How to tell a Jezebel Spirit:



They gain power by diminishing others. It is causes them a rush “win” over someone. They manage to get in positions of authority, and are difficult to displace, once there.
They are controlling, manipulative, bossy.
They can either be war-like in their personalities, so that they are intimidating, or so sweet, timid, charming and charismatic, they are able to fool and recruit others to join them.
The spirit is critical of others, vicious to the point of blood thirsty as to reveal weaknesses.
They are never wrong in their own eyes; they are unable to apologize.
They recruit others to rally behind their charges against their victims. They act to persuade recruits, and do not give up this activity until the recruits are won over. If the potential recruits do not cooperate and accept their position they will grow angry.
They are by nature narcissistic. While they tend to be oversensitive, they have no concern for the feelings of others. They are not sympathetic about their victims, and tend to play the role of victim themselves, in order to gain sympathy. This way the real victim is left stranded, and opposed by others if they ask for help. Being the center of attention really pleases them.
They lie, and they believe their own lie. Avoiding the truth, or intentionally acting to withhold truth is part of a false picture presented to others.
Impulsive, disorganized, failure to plan ahead. Life is often chaotic and family in their care is in disarray.
The have a lack of remorse after hurting someone. They can justify the harm and remain smug about their victory.

They prove to be consistent irresponsibility, unpunctual, undependable. Will make rash promises, but cannot be trusted to fulfill.
They often express irritability, aggressiveness (open or subtle), and can be quick tempered.
This person is an “outlier” or non-conformist, they have their own ways.
Psychological counseling will not help, since they deny their condition.
They may claim religious sentiments, but are found very superficial in spiritual disciplines. Places emphasis on emotions over depth of condition.

Revelation doesn't say anything about a 'Jezebel spirit'. It's not mentioned in the Bible. If you think it is a way of life, why confuse everyone by calling it a 'spirit' because some people read that and think you mean some kind of demonic principality?

I don't see the term at all...I do see Jezebel used in the book of revelation to identify what could be called a spirit of error...But you to based that on the scriptures , not this stuff folks have made up to sell books.

What we know as a Jezebel spirit is called such because Jezebel was the first (the 2nd in Revelation 2:20) person in scripture to exhibit this spirit.

This same thing is known in the world as narcissistic personality disorder. In every circumstance, the person who has it is controlling & manipulative in an evil way (what other way is there?)

Does anybody besides me notice that most of this description of the Jezebel spirit also describes the US Govt and news media to a 'T'? Fearmongering is placing emphasis on emotion over depth of condition, is it not?

Another trait associated with this spirit is its habit of projecting..... accusing others of doing what they are actually doing themselves, such as the US govt. putting christians & christian organizations on terrorist lists, or Fox News accusing other of being 'spin doctors'.

Many of us know our govt passes laws that's supposed to protect us while they're actually stripping us of our rights. That's manipulation.

Have you ever noticed how evil people & groups lie, deceive, & manipulate the masses against the true church, & at the same time claiming to be the church? And they do it with a unified purpose. Universalism is unified, isn't it?

How easy we forget that just as the true church is Spirit-led to be holy, there's people with an evil spirit being spirit-led to deceive & corrupt the holy. The spirit of antichrist is deceiving christians, leading them down a corrupt path away from God & at the same time convincing them they're still holy. THAT IS MANIPULATION AT ITS FINEST!

If you don't want to call it the 'Jezebel spirit', fine..... but it's still a demonic spirit, no matter what you call it.

Look you are guys are just describing the flesh and the carnal church in general! This whole idea came from a couple of books folks wrote to make merchandise of believers. Are there spirits of error etc...? Sure.. but the whole Jezebel spirit thing is error itself.

Why are they so obsessed with this "jezebel spirit"? I agree that it is totally unbiblical.
I think it is used as a means of putting people down (and making oneself seem more holy in the process)

The exact phrase "Jezebel spirit" is maybe not to be found in our bibles. However, it is not unbiblical to say that someone is operating "in the spirit of Jezebel" if all the charactheristics and trademarks of her are present in a person. So...it is splitting hairs to say "oh, the expression 'Jezebel spirit' is not in the Bible", when still the same phenomena occurs. JezeBEL types are a reality, also in our day. Just as much as Jannes and Jambres types are.

Ok there is a difference between using the term Jezebel to describe idolatry and false prophets types...and all this nonsense that is being taught! Folks are claiming to be experts at finding evil spirits in others when they are not equipped or called to be judging the spirits and all it leads to is a bunch of religious finger pointing! Basically anybody who don't agree with these folks who believe in this Jezebel spirit ...have a spirit of jezebel....That's all it is !

Its simple really just do a research in jezebel then talk what you know until then the finger pointing should be directed at self. Many mature Christians have done extensive studies and it is futile to argue with one who has limited understanding of spiritual things. What is spirit is spirit what is natural is natural. Every spirit that would include the spirit of any man or woman and jezebel was a woman who had a spirit and it was anti God therefore antichrist

I strongly suggest a study on the word spirit from a biblical accounting then you maybe will see how many find the jezebel spirit a very real entity attacking the church today just a thought

The Jezebel spirit is a major spiritual wickedness we are warned of in the last days..and it is rampant and awaits you on every corner, in churches, politics, families, workplace, is very cunning and cloaks herself so well that the majority sees her as merely a lustful woman. Very clever is this spirit, much like the devil has persuaded many that he wears a red suite, has a tail and carries a pitchfork. The simple man is taken by her, but also the strong man is thrown down, as the scripture says. She will seek to take your inheritance, be not deceived.

This spirit of Jezebel inhibits men as well as women, it is not gender restricted. It is a seducing spirit that seeks to kill true prophets of Yah and promote her false prophets. Of course in modern days this is not necessarily accomplished by literal killing, rather hindering or creating confusion to stop the true messenger's message.

The Ahabs of this age will have to answer to the Most High, for allowing Jezebels of this age to thrive among them. The spirit of Elijah is Jezebels worst nightmare. How does the Elijah spirit manifest if not to turn the hearts of the children back to their fathers? This is contrary to the Jezebel spirit.
