We are talking about a time when evil men will be killing ALL who stay true to Jesus and refuse to submit to their false worship. They will not listen to your testamony. They will kill you.
When they come for me , yes I will fight, and yes i will try to kill as many of them as I can.
We are talking about war between good and evil.
I will never be like the Jews were in the 1930's with Hitler.
I don't understand how any MAN could just stand by and let evil men kill their family or other Belivers.

Nothing wrong with looking at prophecies concerning the end of the age.
But the question is, how can you prove that right NOW is the end of the age??
Just based on dispensationalism and some bad books and movies, is my thought.

I have heard both sides of the argument and to me, at the end of the day it is more indicative of what one does and thinks, but it cannot be ruled out as an actual mark, stamp, chip, bar code with invisible ink etc...........
So.....I think the best word to use right now would be....WHATEVER!

I cannot fathom how you could have gotten anger out of that post. And certainly no anger or fear about end times nonsense... er dispensationalism!
I have some very well defined and well researched views on eschatology, and I forget sometimes how people are still locked in this "Left Behind" time warp, based on poor hermeneutics and bad exegetics. Really, a Hollywood scenario, not Biblical interpretation at all.
It also concerns me greatly, when I read posts of people who think they are going to lose their salvation over a cafeteria meal, but logically, that is the end result of this ridiculous interpretation of the Bible.
Like God is going to cast people out who did not know what they were getting! That is, if this supposed Mark of the Beast is actually physical. I feel sorry for people who get caught up in this end times feeding frenzy, and are scared to death they are going to lose their salvation, which is totally unscriptural.
And I find it interesting that the Pre-mill, pre-trib types are also usually Arminian (not always!) which means they really do have to be scared about losing their salvation if they do something wrong, even if it is in ignorance.
I guess you could say I have a righteous anger against poor Biblical teaching, and false interpretation of Scripture, with the motive of scare tactics.
As for me:

The mark of the beast is not a chip,but the mark of the beast has always been with us and Hebrew/Jews despise the mark of beast. The mark of the beast is getting an upgrade ,and who is master of this scheme the ELITE. There is nothing new under the sun just repackage to masses of sheep(chattel) and masses of folks are slave to mark of the beast. It all began in Roman Republic and continues today in the Western World. Each time this mark of the beast is introduce to poor countries it destroys the foundation of that country instead of being a village helping one another it becomes individaulism, turning fellow humans against each other and brother against brother. JESUS Christ knew it was an evil from the beginning enslaving masses of people during his time.

Since this mark has not yet been made manifest, the speculative door is open wide about what this might entail. I will not be taking this chip. Daniel was fed and protected from the Lion. Surely, the father can feed me and protect me.

Amen.....most are blind to the fact that from Abel, to the prophets that were slain, Jesus, the apostles and millions of untold CHRISTIANS have been murdered throughout the ages for the cause of Christ and a witness of the word...it is ABSURD to think that this generation of Christianity and or any other generation of Christianity is ABOVE persecution and tribulation being levelled at them......Like this statement and the one by PennEd above the bible teaches the following...

1. Make war against the saints and prevail against them
2. Wear out the saints of the most HIGH and OVERCOME THEM
3. Imprison and kill the saints

as previous posts of scripture shows, believers today, for quite some centuries in fact, have died for their faith in yahshua.

a few refuse to deny yahshua. if they die or if they escape, they have full and complete peace and joy and righteousness (like corrie ten boom)
some deny yahshua hoping to live (hoping their torturers and captors might let them go; but in any case , whether they get let loose or not, they end up far worse than ever before if they deny their faith in yahshua.)
a very good example in the usa is the 'required' 'legal' mark of pharmka - those who know the truth never or rarely permit it, even though it may cost them everything they own. those who don't know the truth simply go along with it, and are ready to go along with whatever they are told (to do).
and most 'big', maybe all 'big' religious groups tell their members to go along with the beast system. (it is reported that most televangelists have been telling their listeners to go along with the beast system - that it is okay, their god will protect them ! )
all the pastors in the untied states received letters from the beast system over a decade ago. it told them how to protect themselves and their families and a few 'chosen' ones from the shortages and restrictions that are about to be imposed (by marshall law or other). all they had to do was tell their congregations to go along with the government programs.....
The real worry is that Jesus said many will turn away from Him because they were not prepared.
