Everyone during there walk with God and down the road of Christianity will feel at some point distant or far from God. God don't see it that way. Because he is always near you more than you know. It's us people that feels this horrid feelings. I say horrid because it is a horrible feeling when you do feel distant from someone important to your life. In this short video. I hope and pray that it will answer the reason why we feel far from God. Be Blessed.

The video is good and there is so much more we can add too it. Sometimes when we feel far from God it has to do with things in our lives; sin unrepentant for, depressed over a certain situation, laziness, pride ect. We also have to understand that as noted in the video God is always near but sometimes He "draws himself away" so that we might learn to trust more or have faith in Him.

One of my favorite passages of Scripture is Romans 5:1-5 but beginning in vs. 3-4 for these times "And not only that but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope."

When we can look at these times of "feeling far from God" as joy rather than sadness we can begin to look and ask "ok Lord what do I need to learn". Unfortunately we are human so many times (guilty as charged) we scream "were are you? Why have you left me?".

Now I will in no way ever be perfect at this but I have been taught by the Holy Spirit to look at these as learning rather than disregard by God. Through my trials that are still going on (for the last 3 years) God has taught me to look at the "bright side" rather than the "dark".

God is in control and God will never leave us or forsake us. He has a plan but it is in His time not our time so therefor come to God in prayer and ask "ok God, what's next :) ?".

I just love the poem footprints at times like that..

"One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you".
