I know its hard for some to accept that all their legalism has profitted them nothing! Gods commandment is to love and nothing profits but faith working by love.

1 John 5:2-3 (ESV), "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome."

1 John 2 (ESV), "1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. 7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because[a] the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. 9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 12 I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you know the Father. 14 I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one."

Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

"iniquity" is:#0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

The King is going to return and all falsehood will be destroyed.

1Jo 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

1Jo 3:14 ¶ We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1Jo 3:23 ¶ And this is his commandments, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1Jo 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

then lets love the Most High and our fellow human according to what He says is love? Is it only "ok" to read and quote the word love but not the Instructions on how to love? or does not true faith come by the hearing of the word?

Scripturally how do we know we love?

because many claim love;

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

I agree...we don't need all this legalism...God made it simple in Christ :) Love fulfills all the law!

Lots written in the scriptures about "agape" 1 Cor 13 is a great place to study...but it all must start with the Commandment of Christ to love as He has loved us....and of course one must have the Holy Spirit of God that sheds Gods love abroad to us in our hearts.

And that is the beauty, He knows our hearts better than we do, all truth will come to light when the Messiah returns.

"do not be astonished.........."

No ...those who love know God and will have boldness in the day of judgment ...those who think their legalism has earned them something will be put to shame.

He knows the intent of our hearts. He is greater than our hearts.

1 Corinthians 4:4-5, "For I know nothing by myself; yet by this I am not justified, for He Who judges me is Yahweh! Therefore, judge nothing before the time. Wait until Yahshua comes, Who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will reveal the secret intentions of men's hearts; and then each man will receive praise from Yahweh."

Love, love, love. Explain how we love our neighbor.

sorry for the late response to the quote here above ......

In a nut shell....... mercy expresses our love toward our neighbor, kinda like how you would treat your family or close friends. This explains how to love our neighbor and also explains who our neighbor is.......

Luke 10:25-37
25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Love shown through mercy is how we love our neighbor.......

Matthew 9:13
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 12:11
And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

Matthew 16:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

This is a warning to avoid the teaching of the legalists (Pharisees and Sadducees) who were unmerciful and unloving towards their neighbor and fellow man because they attempted in great error to go about establishing their own righteousness through law keeping while thinking they were better then other men in God's sight, living more pious lives and serving God better then their brothers but in doing so....... they did not not submit to God's righteousness and were blinded for having a hard heart and stiff neck....... just like those that were blinded and died without mercy in the desert coming out of Egypt .......they had an evil heart of unbelief. Notice Paul who was zealous for the Law, said He persecuted Christians severely when He was a legalist but was forgiven because he did it in unbelief......?

1 Timothy 1:12-13
12And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Acts 13:38-41

38Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;41Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

Matthew 16:12

Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

They had the Law of Moses and refused to accept the Law of God to believe and love and not to trust in their own arm to save them
.

Some food for thought....... Jesus told the Law keepers back then to believe too...... or they would be condemned. He required them to trust in God's righteousness alone and submit to Him learning to grow in love and faith in Him and not by trusting in their own righteousness because they kept the letter of the Law outwardly. He knew they loved Him with their lips but their hearts where far from Him because they were cruel to their fellow man and separatists who would not hear who God had sent.......who commanded love, they even murdered that Just One, full of all love and righteousness by nailing Him to a tree because He didn't fit their idea of being a law keeper because He pointed towards love as fulfillment of the law. He offered them salvation if they would only believe and have faith in Him while trusting Him to justify them and not themselves.

We respect your zeal....... wow,.......it is awesome....... but try and trust God to show you how to apply love and mercy in your faith and see what God does for your life. Everything is not black and white with shades of mushy love in the gray areas.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
.......through love.......

Matthew 11:25,26,28-30
25At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

If you are against these Scriptures it is not me you fight, for the Spirit of the Most High inspired this truth.

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, Yahweh Shammah, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

Mattithyah 5:18-19, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected. Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Zechariah 7:12, "Yes, they made their hearts as hard as stone, that they could not hear the Law, and the words which Yahweh of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from Yahweh of hosts."

Isayah 24:1-6, "Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty and makes it waste, perverts the face of it and scatters abroad its inhabitants; And it will be: as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to him: The land will be utterly emptied and utterly plundered, for Yahweh has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed the Laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant. Because of this, the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left."

Isayah 65
"I am sought by those who did not ask for Me; I am found by those who did not seek Me. I said: Here I am, here I am, to a nation that was not called with My Name. I have spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way which is not right, after their own thoughts; devices; A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; who sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense on altars of brick; Who assemble and spend the night keeping memorials for the dead, who eat swine's flesh, and the broth of abominable things; unclean foods, is in their vessels, Who say; Stand by yourself! Do not come near me, for I am holier than you! These are a smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all the day. Behold, it is written before Me; I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom--Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, says Yahweh: who have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed Me upon the hills. Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom. This is what Yahweh says: As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says; Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Yaaqob, and out of Yahdah an inheritor of My mountains; and My elect will inherit it, and My servants will live there. Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who have sought Me. But you are those who forsake Yahweh, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for that troop and who furnish a drink offering for that number. Therefore, I will number you for the sword, and you will all bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen; but did evil in front ofMy eyes, and you chose that in which I did not delight. Therefore, this is what Yahweh our Father says: Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed. Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and wail for vexation; grief, of spirit; And the names of your gods will remain as a trap; test, to My chosen; for Yahweh our Father will slay you, but he will give His servants a Name, that will remain forever; That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the power of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the power of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. They have been adversaries from the beginning; therefore, they are hidden from My eyes. For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former will not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Yerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Yerusalem, and rejoice in My people; the voice of weeping will no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying. No longer will there be in it an infant of only a few days, nor an old man who does not fill out his life; for the child will die a hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed; burned. They will build houses, and inhabit them; they will plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They will not build, and another inhabit; they will not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My elect will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; destruction, for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them. It will come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent's food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: says Yahweh."

Isayah 66:17, "They who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens, following after the "priest in the midst" of those who eat swine's flesh, that which is offered to gods and the rodent--will be consumed together: says Yahweh."

The Hebrew text renders this phrase: following the one in the center, rather than: one behind the other, as in the King James version. This ONE in the center is an idolatrous PRIEST or PREACHER. A Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament by Julius Furst, Page 1463.

Isayah 66:20-24, "And they will bring all your brothers for an offering to Yahweh--out of all nations, on horses, in chariots, and in litters, on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Yerusalem, says Yahweh: just as the children ofIsrayl bring an offering in a clean vessel into The Bayith Yahweh And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says Yahweh. For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make will remain before Me, says Yahweh: so will your seed and your name remain. And it will come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Yahweh. And they will go forth and look upon the carcasses of the men who have transgressed against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched; and they will be an abhorrence to all flesh."

Yahdah/Jude 1:4, "For there are certain men who have secretly crept in, who were before of old ordained for this condemnation, unholy men, who turn the undeserved pardon of our One Supreme Savior Yahweh into licentiousness, and deny Yahshua our Messiah."

Romans 1:28-32, "And so, since they did not like to retain Yahweh in their knowledge, Yahweh gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper; Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual impurity, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, Backbiters, haters of Yahweh, despiteful, arrogant, and boastful. They are inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, And without understanding. They are covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, and unmerciful: Who, knowing the righteous judgment of Yahweh, that those who practice such things deserve death, not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them."

Right and He has made clear to all that love fulfills the law...not legalism! So do you think a heart in legalism pleases God or a heart that loves as He has commanded.... don't be deceived if you love Him you will keep His commandments!

Yet you call reading, praying and seeking to obey His Commandments "legalism" love for the Creator's Instructions is not legalism it is;

Ezekiyl 36:26-28, "A new heart; mind, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

Where is the verse that says he will put his spirit on us to make us refuse to hear or read his instructions?

Romans 8:5-8 (ESV), "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God."

Where is the verse that says he will put his spirit on us to make us refuse to hear or read his instructions?

Isayah 30:9-13, "That this rebellious people, lying children, are children who will not hear; (listen to), the Law of Yahweh; Who say to the seers; Do not see! Who say to the prophets; Do not prophesy right things to us, speak smooth things to us, prophesy deceits; Get out of the way, turn away from the path, cause the Holy One of Israyl to cease from our presence! Therefore, this is what the Holy One of Israyl says: Because you despise this word (the Law) , and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon. Therefore, this iniquity will be to you like a breach; a weakened wall ready to fall a bulge of a high wall which breaks suddenly, in an instant."

Where is the verse that says he will put his spirit on us to make us refuse to hear or read his instructions?

Matt 15:7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isayah prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

Where is the verse that says he will put his spirit on us to make us refuse to hear or read his instructions?

Isayah 29:13-14, "Therefore Yahweh said: Because these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their reverence to Me is taught by the precept of men; Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding oftheir prudent men; discerning, will be hid."

Should b no surprise, for it is written;

Isayah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil righteous, and righteous evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

the mystery of iniquity is here when those who promote what the Messiah said is a right thing are called evil....

"whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be... in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Yet im told here that teaching and doing the Law is evil, oh how ALL you who teach against the Law are an opponent of the Messiah's own words.

There is only one standard of love, and any who deny it are liars, period;

1 John 5:2-3 (ESV), "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome."

1 John 2 (ESV), "4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Oh how the deceivers and the deceived will come with a circle argument and says "we love by loving, never dwelling on the standard of love set forth by the Creator.

2 Timothy 3:5, "Having a form of holiness, but denying the power of it--from such turn away!"

those who call seeking obedience evil, my how they are mistaken.

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

1 John 3:4, "Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Hiz you can turn it however you like...but it still remains that Gods commandments are fulfilled in love not legalism...any honest person can read the New testament and see that!

And if you guys really loved Gods law and wanted to see it fulfilled you would be teaching love...not this legalistic nonsense that God has rejected!
