Do you really think you will get a free pass to Heaven if you obey some legalistic laws, read the bible, tithe your money, do good deeds, go to church on a Saturday, do not get drunk, smoke, swear or have extra marital affairs? We are not given license to disregard any of God’s commandments in this new covenant era, including the fourth one. The Sabbath was given to humanity before the fall, when humanity was still sinless and perfect before their God. If God intended for sinless perfect beings to keep it, why wouldn’t He want us to keep it now that we are saved? It will also be kept in the new heaven and new earth, as it should be kept now by all who plan to be a part of either.

We still observe the Sabbath, just not in the way the OT Mosaic laws with its curses say we are.
Now with that being said I do not believe this has any bearing on Saturday or Sunday worship services, because the scripture I gave from Acts 20:7 says not only did they break bread but Paul preached to them as well; held worship on Sunday. If I am working to provide and feed for my family on Saturday, then I am doing for and as the Lord commanded keeping His day holy.







The written form of the 10 commandments was done away with to, because along with them in the Mosaic laws came curses of death in the ordinances for any that broke them. Under the new covenant those morals that are contained within the 10 commandments are written in our hearts to walk in with out the penalty of the law. If you continue however to break them from here and not follow them, then the truth is not in you and judgment awaits.........

I have worked on the Sabbath and will to do good. If I choose though to work every Sabbath to make a living, I would simply be caving to the demands of the complany I worked for, over and above the authority of God. Eventually, all will have to make this decision when those who ar attempting to legislate Sunday sacredness succeed in doing so.

That maybe the way you feel in your situation, but some people make so little of a salary that in order to be able to provide and feed their family they have to work Saturdays, 7 days a week, and even two or three jobs. The Lord is not going to hold that against a person, nor are you considered breaking the Sabbath if the reason is for Him in order to support your family.

The law God requires you to keep is written on your mind and placed on your heart sat the point of conversion. You are looking to the words of the literal law written in pen and ink, and written on tablets of stone, however:

The law you are required to keep is written on your mind and placed on your heart at the point of conversion. You do not need to read the literal words of the to know what the law is you are required to keep. It has to do with being born again of the Holy Spirit

Do you really think you will get a free pass to Heaven if you obey some legalistic laws, read the bible, tithe your money, do good deeds, go to church on a Saturday, do not get drunk, smoke, swear or have extra marital affairs? The Pharisees of Jesus day would have passed all those tests with flying colours(I am sure they would not have smoked if smoking had then been invented) but they never knew God according to Christ

A free pass? I make no judgement on if I will enter or not:

1 Corinthians 4:4-5, "For I know nothing by myself; yet by this I am not justified, for He Who judges me is Yahweh! Therefore, judge nothing before the time. Wait until Yahshua comes, Who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will reveal the secret intentions of men's hearts; and then each man will receive praise from Yahweh."

If I do enter it will be because YHWH has mercy on me and that yes I did His will. IF, that is IF.

The pharisees were the most evil men in the society they did not follow the Law read Matt 23.....

Mark 7:13, "Making the Laws of Yahweh of no effect through your tradition you have handed down! And many other similar things you do."

"Making the Laws of Yahweh of no effect" because they "changed" the laws, followed whatever they wanted and did not submit to His Instructions, Paul as a n ex-pharisee understood this well and wrote about it, but most today are clueless.

We are all sinners who break the law, unless you profess to be perfect in your flesh. As a Baptist minister of fifty years said to me. If we followed after the Holy Spirit every moment of ourt lives we would never sin, the reality of which escapes us all. I find it better to speak honestly than make bland statements

SO it ok to steal then? this was about enter a congregation...... not the be all end all instructions, for at this point many of them had surely not even heard the Message of Messiah in it true fullness, but wee babes, had not even entered a place of true worship many of them....this was the beginning of even letting gentiles in a place of worship......historical contest must be studied out if we ever want to understand what is clearly written, think about it, this was the beginning of allowing gentiles in for the society was caught up in talmudic law, and Messiah made a spectacle of talmud law.... every chance He got.....

It is because Heaven does not hinge on observing the law sin shall not be a persons master, this is what you appear to find so hard to understand

We still observe the Sabbath, just not in the way the OT Mosaic laws with its curses say we are.
Now with that being said I do not believe this has any bearing on Saturday or Sunday worship services, because the scripture I gave from Acts 20:7 says not only did they break bread but Paul preached to them as well; held worship on Sunday. If I am working to provide and feed for my family on Saturday, then I am doing for and as the Lord commanded keeping His day holy.







The written form of the 10 commandments was done away with to, because along with them in the Mosaic laws came curses of death in the ordinances for any that broke them. Under the new covenant those morals that are contained within the 10 commandments are written in our hearts to walk in with out the penalty of the law. If you continue however to break them from here and not follow them, then the truth is not in you and judgment awaits.........







Only a hand full of them, and not the whole 613 Mosaic laws;

Now lets see what Paul has to say about this subject to;


Romans 13:9

There is no round and round if one would understand how to separate the moral laws of God contained within the 10 commandments, and the written Mosaic laws. If you noticed I posted Romans 13:9 previously where Paul still upheld the 10 commandments as well as we are because those are His morals. However He did make changes and adaptations to them on how they are observed in the new covenant.
Like working to support and feed your family on the Sabbath is not breaking it, hatred toward another is murder, lust in the heart is already adultery, and so on.......

The Lord made changes in the gospel books, and as I just showed with Acts 15 the Holy Spirit gave the command of the only few ordinances of the Mosaic laws we are to follow, not all 613 of them. Trying to earn one's way into heaven by keeping all of them is justification of the law, which Paul clearly told the Galatians that Christ is of no effect to them and they have fallen from grace for doing so. One is not under grace if they are trying to be justified by the law.....

I never said they were done away with, as what I said was that the morals of them are still upheld by us.
What was done away was them in the written form (2 Corinthians 3:7-11) with the curses of the law that came with them, as breaking any one of the 10 commandments in the OT Mosaic covenant was to be put to death. The Lord took the curse of law away, and took the punishment for us. Now if one continues to disobey those commands they are headed for judgment and the lake of fire.
