1. What is the best prank you have ever pulled on someone?

This is not really a prank; more like a burglar alarm sort of. I put this on my coffee table before I leave out everyday...

View attachment 97487

2. What is the best topping combination for a hot dog?

Chili cheese dog with a steamed bun.

3. If you had to make a public, monastic type vow in your life ( i.e. chastity, silence, poverty) what type of vow could/would you make?

There was this monk once who took a vow of silence. At the end of his first year the monastery allowed him two words to say out loud. He said "HARD BED". He continued with his vow and the next year the he was allowed another couple of words. "HORRIBLE FOOD" was his choice. Third year rolled by and his choice of words was "I QUIT!" The Cardinal said "well good, you've done nothing but complain since you've been here". I've got nothing on this - matter of fact the whole reason I even answered any of this was so I could tell that joke. I've waited 20 years....

4. If a friend entered you into some type of food eating contest, which type do you think you could win? Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies. Who cares who wins.

5. If you could spend a year in a discipleship program under any pastor/teacher today, who would you want to learn under?

Charles Stanley or the Pope.
I just now realized that Lynx told that monastery joke first. But see when i told it i held mu hand like this and made i funnier and when Lynx told it he was making big gestures and it was distracting.

No he wasn't.

I told it twice. I've lost my mojo......

1. What movie deserves a sequel?
Stanger than fiction, or if we're just talking about dvd's lets talk about the office series because that is the best show in the world.
2. What one toy would you like to throw repeatedly at a brick wall?
A tennis ball, haha.
3. What is one thing you always wanted as a kid, but never got?
Roller shoes.

My life is one giant wait, I'm almost getting used to the idea.
But the best place for me to wait is when I am drinking my coffee in the morning an listening to worship music. That's my fave.
5. What is your most impressive car repair skill?
The part where I avoid curbs and mailboxes.
...And small children :D

1. What is the best prank you have ever pulled on someone?
I have a good pokerface so I have pulled many pranks. I can't think of the best one, right now.

2. What is the best topping combination for a hot dog?
There's this topping which takes a bit of time to prepare but it's the best one for a hot dog. You have to mix some bitter gourd (or parsley) juice, a teaspoon of your favourite fruit jam and garlic sauce. You may add some rock salt and pepper, depending on your taste.
Truth is, I'm not a fan of hot dogs. :p

3. If you had to make a public, monastic type vow in your life ( i.e. chastity, silence, poverty) what type of vow could/would you make?
I don't think I would make a monastic vow because there may be an occasion when you have to make an exception to it.

4. If a friend entered you into some type of food eating contest, which type do you think you could win?
According to Sun Tzu, it is wise to fight on a ground where you have the upperhand. I invite any challenger for a dosa (Indian breakfast dish) eating contest. I'll PWN ya! :p

5. If you could spend a year in a discipleship program under any pastor/teacher today, who would you want to learn under?
Martin Luther.

1. What is the best prank you have ever pulled on someone?
A couple of Christmases ago, my teen daughter had been begging for a guitar. I got a friend's beat up ukelele and wrapped it up and stuck it under the tree. When she got to it, I explained that money was tight and a ukelele was almost the same thing. Her heart sank, but she tried to be gracious. That's when I pulled a new guitar out of the closet. She pretty much lost it ;)

2. What is the best topping combination for a hot dog?
Chili, cheese, and onion.

3. If you had to make a public, monastic type vow in your life ( i.e. chastity, silence, poverty) what type of vow could/would you make?
silence, I guess...

4. If a friend entered you into some type of food eating contest, which type do you think you could win?
A cheesecake eating contest. I don't think I would win, but I would certainly enjoy myself!

5. If you could spend a year in a discipleship program under any pastor/teacher today, who would you want to learn under?
Jesus.

1.What is the best prank you have ever pulled on someone? I don't pull pranks on people. They usually prank me. I am so gullible.

2. What is the best topping combination for a hot dog? Mustard and ketchup. I will go all out some times and add chili, cheese and onions. I just like to eat the hot dog and dip it in the toppings.

3. If you had to make a public, monastic type vow in your life ( i.e. chastity, silence, poverty) what type of vow could/would you make? It would have to be poverty. I go wild shopping some times.

4. If a friend entered you into some type of food eating contest, which type do you think you could win? Hot chips. I love hot chips. It would have to be a bite size. I could probably eat a million hot chips.

5. If you could spend a year in a discipleship program under any pastor/teacher today, who would you want to learn under? It would have to be Paul from the Bible. I am enjoying reading about Paul in the Bible. Or it would have to be Fred Hartley, cofounder of the College of Prayer.

I guess I should answer my own...

1. If you were cast as an "extra" in a movie, what movie (already past or in pre-production) would you like to be in?

I would have loved to have been one of the aliens in the cantina scene of Star Wars, preferably playing in the band.

3. What is the best Valentine gift you have given or would like to give a special someone? no cheating and saying "there's no point in this, I'll never have anyone anyway, so why bother..." just answer the stupid quesion, 'kay?

4. What is the best Valentine gift you would like to receive or have received from that special someone? same rules as #3 - no whining.

I'd like the feeling of not being our first or second Valentine's Day together, but our 30th or 40th...that feeling that we are so comfortable with each other that when we are old and just want to stay home and watch movies, we still enjoy cuddling and foot massages while watching a video.

5. What is the most romantic dish you know how to make without consulting a recipe?

butternut squash soup, chicken with artichokes and mushrooms over spinach pasta, steamed broccoli, herbed bread (easy on the garlic - in case there will be kissing :)), a dry riesling, for dessert - I will cheat and get a store-bought cheesecake.

1. If you were cast as an "extra" in a movie, what movie (already past or in pre-production) would you like to be in?

As one of the archers in Troy. I'd like to live a battle scene like that.

2. What is your favorite sundae ice cream/topping combination?
A falooda.

It is like a sundae but is an Indian recipe. It is made from mixing ice cream, rose syrup, vermicelli, psyllium or basil seeds, tapioca pearls, and pieces of gelatin with milk or water. Sometimes even fruits can be added to the mix.

3. What is the best Valentine gift you have given or would like to give a special someone?
There's this really beautiful restaurant by the beach, near my city. They host this romantic dinner where you are seated right on the beach while they serve you dinner. It's a bit expensive (costs about 200 USD), so I'll do that only once or twice a year. Here's a pic of the place.

4. What is the best Valentine gift you would like to receive or have received from that special someone?

I'd like to be taken to that restaurant for a beautiful dinner. :p

5. What is the most romantic dish you know how to make without consulting a recipe?

That would be escargot. After I tried it, I realized that it is the most romantic thing I would cook for my lady.

"Honey, I want to thank you for being around with me all this while. Thank you for putting up with my twisted sense of humour and for being a happy victim of all my pranks. In appreciation of your goodwill, I have cooked you some slugs. I hope you enjoy the meal. Bon appetit, baby!"

Am I likely to be single forever??

If you were cast as an "extra" in a movie, what movie (already past or inpre-production) would you like to be in?
That's a good question...I'm thinking something medieval because of my complexion (pale) and hair (long and curly) and I think it'd be fun to dress up in a fancy dress. I can't even think of a movie like that, though...maybe A Knight's tale?

What is your favorite sundae ice cream/topping combination?
Crushed up Oreos and chocolate syrup. I'm all about dat chocolate.

What is the best Valentine gift you have given or would like to give a special someone?
This is a "would like to" since I never really have, I think making cookies together, watching a movie, and then taking a walk and going stargazing. But actually that sounds amazing any day. I guess to make it more "Valentine'y" I'd say we'd have a jam session and only sing/play love songs? That sounds too...mushy though. And it's not really something that I GIVE, per se...maybe I'd compose a song and sing it for him? I dunno.

What is the best Valentine gift you would like to receive or have received from that special someone?
See above? (apparently I'm bad at this V-day schtuff. I can think of fun ideas of things to do but they aren't really gifts)

What is the most romantic dish you know how to make without consulting a recipe?
Triple layer brownies.

I think you're great at it! The gift of time spent together is just about the best one there is!!!

I feel The Passion of The Christ should have a sequel. Why? because the history after Christs resurrection is very complex. A lot of history in those 100 or so years there. People martyred people rising to power. truth and falsehood.

The toy i'd throw at the wall. Anything you can get from those quarter toy machines outside walmart or department stores. Any of those toys.

Something I wanted and never got. Hmm. If i got stuff that was enough honestly. Maybe a gas powered mini dirt bike though.

Where do i not mind waiting. In a line to talk with god right. Seriously probably at the hair dressers or barbers.

I have no impressive car repair skills. Well i can change windshield wipers.
