OT Jews were obeying the law, in that case (Exo 23:13, Jdg 2:12, 2Ki_17:35) and assumed it properly: If I said I´m a child of God, I should be also divine... Yet He came down from Heaven and was with God, in the beginning.
Then he was divine (deity) while on earth.

The NT testifies that the Jews who were there were positive he was claiming to be God,
and had him killed for the blasphemy of it.

I don't think we are in a position to override what they understood him to be saying.

I think He was misunderstood and killed because those Jews were ALSO obeying the law, as I said:

Deu 13:6 "If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife you embrace or your friend who is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which neither you nor your fathers have known,
Deu 13:7 some of the gods of the peoples who are around you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other,
Deu 13:8 you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him.
Deu 13:9 But you shall kill him. Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people.

That was the law, and Jesus knew it.

Then he was divine (deity) while on earth.
He was and still is, as the 2nd in command, not as God:

Act 7:56 And he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

I don't think they misunderstood him.

Only God can forgive sin.
Jesus, also, was permitted to do so (and still does it, as Lord).

Mat 9:6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he then said to the paralytic—"Rise, pick up your bed and go home."

Mark 2:7 "Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Read there)

Mar 2:10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he said to the paralytic—
Mar 2:11 "I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home."
Mar 2:12 And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

Luk 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

Luk 5:24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he said to the man who was paralyzed—"I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home."

I like this:

Yes, God the Son has existed for all eternity.

God Incarnate has not.

Assuming this interpretation of prophecy is correct.

Others interpret it differently.

Only you have a private interpretation....which you cannot defend.

Each and any of us are interpretating his/her own ways...

Wasn´t that one of the reasons Jesus was sent?

PS

Does a person need to interprete THEM my ways or God´s ways?

Start thinking before replying...

Jesus words in Mt 22:31-32 settle it for me.

Jesus spoke in Greek, and His words were recorded in Greek.....but you don't know ANY Greek...so how can His words 'settle it' for you...?

Show some respect and forethought...

Read it again. . .Stephen does not state they are the same person.
Yes, He does...

Only you deny this....you're all alone....

Scripture...?

Your replies show that you have run out of gas.....:)

Mis-interpretation is a matter of life and death.

In your Unitarian rush, You forgot to highlight Spirit & Truth.

All NT usages of The Truth have The Son as the subject.

Thus...this passages mandates worship of God as Father, Son, Spirit.

The Trinity.

If you want to see it that way I can twist words, also.

I´m not God´s Spirit, if you are, i congratulate you, sir.

Start twisting.....you scriptural ignorants amuse me...
your prideful wisdom and erudition enlights your own thoughts too. But that was the way Jewish Priests liked to abuse Jesus and other who believed in Him, their life time:

Joh 7:47 The Pharisees answered them, "Have you also been deceived?
Joh 7:48 Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him?
Joh 7:49 But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed."
Joh 7:50 Nicodemus, who had gone to him before, and who was one of them, said to them,
Joh 7:51 "Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?"
Joh 7:52 They replied, "Are you from Galilee too? Search and see that no prophet arises from Galilee."

Yes! tell me redneck and whatever thing you need to improve your pride and self righteousness.

I rather die for what I´ve believed than to be dead for what another tried to make me believe.
If you fail to worship Yahweh as He has revealed Himself to be, Triune, then you most assuredly will die.

My friend:

I´m dead in worst transgressions.

Additionally, Jah nor the Lord Jesus taught that doctrine

And What for?

I don´t belong to the RCC´s teachings.

What could be worst than denying your Creator?

Additionally, Jah nor the Lord Jesus taught that doctrine

And What for?
That Yahweh is Triune is taught all the way through the Holy Bible.

Certain people, such as yourself, missed it....but that's OK - you're one of the un-chosen many...

I don´t belong to the RCC´s teachings.
Neither do I...

Only God can forgive sin.
if Jesus sent you then you can too....
John 20:20-23King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

[SUP]22 [/SUP]And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
