Egyptian planes pound ISIS in Libya in revenge for mass beheadings of Christians

Egyptian warplanes struck hard at ISIS militants in neighboring Libya, killing as many as 64 militants and destroying the Islamist terror group's training camps and weapons caches a day after a sickening video surfaced showing black-clad jihadists beheading 21 Coptic Christians.

The strikes came in two waves after Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi went on national television in the world's most populous Arab nation and vowed revenge was coming. The address was followed by the airing of military video showing the planes taking off for the mission and an Armed Forces General Command statement saying the strikes were "to avenge the bloodshed and to seek retribution from the killers."

President el-Sissi and Jordan's King Abdullah II -- with his scaled-up air war against ISIS in the north -- are doing far more than the U.S. in the war on Islamic terror, despite the U.S. having decisive advantages in technology, arms, and sheer numbers.

We're an embarrassment. Our president played golf when all three male American hostages were beheaded, and the day it was confirmed Kayla Mueller was dead, he did an absolutely insipid and utterly idiotic BuzzFeed video that was so far beneath the previous level of dignity of the office as to be beyond comprehension.

Obviously nothing is beneath this moron's dignity. Fed up here.

Obama would be more likely to support our geopolitical adversary's interests by having our feckless State Department install silly little Islamist banana republics followed by a James Taylor tour of the region.

I would much prefer that he furnish Jordan, Egypt, and Israel with arms to maintain the status quo than engage the United States in a too-big-to-fail project abroad.

A change in leadership would result in a change of my opinion. It would have to be a drastic change though.

Anonymous is hack attacking ISIS' at the Internet end since they use social media to recruit and navigate the web to consolidate their attacks. At least that's something.

Obama has requested a war authorization from Congress. I'd say that's something.

I'd say it was nothing. Obama has been using force against ISIS for 6 months now and besides his inherent ability as a commander in chief he's had TWO authorizations to use all the force he needs to "destroy and defeat" these terrorist. He doesn't need more authorization and he pretends to use this so called authorization as if that's the thing "holding him back". Don't bore me! What's holding Obama back is his own stubborn unwillingness to do what's necessary to defeat these people, period.
