You are not an Israelite? Then you do not belong to God at all. Ephesians 2:11-19 says all who come to Christ, Jew or Gentile, have become citizens of Israel.
Referring to old testament Israelites , and if you can't see the difference between the old and new, you truly are under the old covenant and therefore under a curse (Galatians).

No, you are the one clearly confused... If you want to sin and break God's law, then that is your choice.

Who said anything about sinning ?

Christ died once to sin, and in Christ we die to sin too.

Don't you understand the significance of Christ ? Apparently not, since you need the old covenant Law to keep you from sinning it would seem.

there is a huge movement in the church today involving several mega-churches (hillsong, joel osteen, jospeph prince) who basically believe that when Jesus died, so did sin with Him. Basically they believe that there is no longer such a thing as sin. I see hints of this in baptist doctrine as well.

Personally, even though these folks use the teachings of Paul to try to justify this doctrine, I feel that this doctrine is in clear & direct vilation with the teachings of Christ himself. I'm beginning to think that such doctrine is indeed the great apostacy ("falling away") mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians...

Amen, it is. The devil is teaching pple that once they claim Jesus as saviour, that they are free to do what they please and still be saved.. I am speaking first hand here Nazarite! "Christians" have told me that they cheat on their wives/husbands, that they lie, that they steal... and guess what... they think that is ok!!!!! They really really really think that they will still be saved because of these MEGA churches feeding them death! But the Bible speaks different.. these men in these mega churches are leading the masses AWAY from Christ and right into the devils hands...

I've seen it myself with folks that I work with who profess to be of various denominations. The only defense those who support these doctrines can say is that those who like that aren't truly saved and I would agree with that assessment however, if they would not preach a doctrine of compromise then we would not have the problem in the first place

I have read the whole thread and I am not sure really what the topic was.
Are we trying to determine who wrote the Levitical Law?
If we are arguing who wrote what God wrote the Bible through men whom He inspired to write.
I am really not getting the problem of the original intent of the thread minus the rabbit trails which we could discuss all day.

I think you are wrong in your assessment of Baptistic doctrine. Sin is alive and well. I have never known of anyone who teaches under the name of Baptist hold to such a doctrine.

Please note that I said "hints" or small pieces...
