And then the grape jelly blew up all over the kitchen.

So that's...that's what's happening in my world. Never mind that I'm the one who dropped it.

I didn't know grape jelly was explosive...

Can you describe the events that lead up to the great grape jelly disaster? Perhaps we might understand better what happened.

Ok, so it was a weird squeeze bottle of grape jelly. And it was mostly full but I couldn't get it to come out, so I shook and tapped and shook some more but it still wouldn't budge. So I figured if I took the lid off and used a knife...you know, the way you normally would...it might work better. Welllllll I couldn't get the lid off, so I tapped it on the edge of the counter to um...I'm not even sure now...but part of the lid broke, and then the whole thing slipped out of my hand. When it landed on the floor, the rest of the lid came off and grape jelly shot out of it all over the cabinet doors.

I wasnt aware that grape jelly was explosive, either, before now.

It sounds like you went in to the chaos in a very organized and methodical manner.

For the record, this is why I don't like squeezable jelly, or squeeze bottles in general. They always fail when you need them to work, leaving you flailing wildly trying to get them to work, and inevitably flinging whatever was in the bottles somewhere you didn't intend for it to be. Squeeze bottles always leave you either over or under applying condiments to food.

I guess from a reliability standpoint they have a failure curve that is shaped like a bath tub - high mortality while new and while old. Maybe one can buy pre-used ketchup bottles and then sell them at the first sign of trouble; perhaps there is even a market for mostly empty bottles that make farting noises when you try and squeeze them.

That what I should have been, a used ketchup salesman.

i just said no to girl scout cookies.
Great! Give them to me! :D :D :D

I kid you not, one year I spent $81 on girl scout cookies. That was back when they were three bucks a box. But they only come around once a year and I knew once I ran out there would be no more.

MissChris I hear you on the squeeze bottles. One night my aunt thought she would get the last of the ketchup out by swinging the bottle. The lid popped off mid-swing and she had a bright red circle painted up one wall, across the ceiling, down the other wall and across the floor.

Do you know how hard ketchup is to get out of wall paint? Neither do I, but my aunt sure knows.

Why would I give you the cookies? This is against the rules lol

If I get time to play them at all any more...

I'd rather go out to the sportsmans club and shoot a musket, or go outside and enjoy the sunlight. Or work, I do a lot of that, and I read a lot about it at home so I can keep my career on track (or so I pray the case will be).

I have a copy of far cry 4 sitting on the shelf right now... it's unopened. I bought it with best buy rewards that were going to expire.

What I'm really looking forward to, is going back and getting one of my 486 boxes up running, and my Pentium Box with the Voodoo 1 and the DB50XG midi synth. Play some point and click adventure games and old school FPS games.

And my Pentium III with the Rare Voodoo3 3000 with 3500 clocks (compaq was the only one who made these). I have a pair of voodoo 2's in SLI, but they don't do the same high res. I could play some system shock 2 on that bad boy.

Once a computer guy, always a computer guy.

Just for that, one of these tag scenarios is going to have to involve you being a "den mother" to a girl scout troop.

You brought this on yourself. You just couldn't let people be happy with their high carb high sugar choices.

mmmmm cake.

and sssssh about gaming, I miss my PS2 (it's amazing how the hours fly doing nothing in particular in FF12)
And speaking of FF, is the last game in the same style as FF12? (in how you control the characters?
I was getting so frustrated trying to play FF10 AFTER getting used to ff12 :p

What if I told you that girl scout cookies are made from girl scouts?

Here's some more just for fun:

If tin whistles are made of tin, what do they make fog horns out of?

…..dog biscuits?

….. kitty litter?

And if vegetarians eat vegetables what do humanitarians eat?

If grape juice is made from grapes… what do they make cough syrup from?

Ok yes slightly twisted sense of humor will be put to rest now.

I used to be that guy until last year when I bought a new computer and loaded up on some awesome new games. Now I have a bunch of fairly new games that I don't even play like battlefield 4, arma 3, sims 3, etc..
