I used to be that guy until last year when I bought a new computer and loaded up on some awesome new games. Now I have a bunch of fairly new games that I don't even play like battlefield 4, arma 3, sims 3, etc..
So what happened to your old pc?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Gimme gimme gimme! I'll take it!

I have a habit of acquiring computers people don't want, freshening them up and giving them to people who need a basic computer for basic end-user stuff.

Alternatively let me know what computer model and OS you're using (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7...) and I can tell you how to do a core wipe and replace. Basically a brand new operating system, like you just bought it. The manufacturer put a recovery partition on your computer - it already has the tools to fix itself. You'll lose all your personal data though, so be sure to back up anything you want to save to a flash drive.

and sssssh about gaming, I miss my PS2 (it's amazing how the hours fly doing nothing in particular in FF12)
And speaking of FF, is the last game in the same style as FF12? (in how you control the characters?
I was getting so frustrated trying to play FF10 AFTER getting used to ff12 :p
I miss my PS-2 also. my PS-3 is ok...........but I miss my PS-2. Would happily change back if I could

Great! Give them to me! :D :D :D

I kid you not, one year I spent $81 on girl scout cookies. That was back when they were three bucks a box. But they only come around once a year and I knew once I ran out there would be no more.
Bought in bulk........they can be frozen and then thawed out for consumption........mmmmm........

Well to start with, what is the computer doing that you don't want it to do?

Just be forewarned if she says it's self aware, I'm will take care of the problem myself.

Just say no to sentient artificial intelligence.

I don't like computers that much. They're more often than not acting up and I'd gladly let them travel 4 stories down for a rendez-vous with the sidewalk...I mean...whats wrong with typewriters and ink?

Hahaha! My old computer actually works great even though its from 2007. I just "had" to buy the new one because it had all the specs I wanted and was on sale for a very good price. :)

What I do is go to amazon.com and start looking at which ones have good ratings. You can list search results according to average customer rating and also limit them to your price range.

All I know is when I was looking for my new laptop that Apple was real expensive and the thing that turned me away from them was they don't have a number keypad and I can do numbers on a keypad without looking pretty fast so I thought wow all that money and no number keypad I ended up with an HP and like it, but I am not computer savvy. So don't trust me Lynx or one of the other techy guys are better for advise I just thought I'd tell you what turned me away from apple.....
