Just because it's not entertaining to you, doesn't mean it's not to other people. I happen to find it very entertaining. When I went to the casino with my mom and we played on the slot machines, it was a lot of fun rooting each other on and doing our little victory dance when we won and having a good time. Sometimes, all you need is 2 minutes of entertainment. If I'm waiting for someone at a gas station, and I'm bored, I'll buy a lotto ticket, like one of the scratch ones, and it only takes a minute, but it's fun while I'm scratching it off. If I win, hey awesome! If not, there's another buck that can go to charities, scholarship funds, and other organizations the lotto helps fund. Have you ever been to Las Vegas? Let me tell you, those are some of the most exciting nickle slots you can find anywhere in the world.
I don't find football entertaining at all, or baseball, or most any other sport for that matter. I think it's a waste of money to go buy expensive tickets, sit out in the cold, and eat stale nachos when you could just watch it at home...doesn't mean other people don't find it HIGHLY entertaining, and spend a LOT of money that goes to nothing but padding the pockets of already wealthy people who play a game for a living.
