thinking about breaking up

I dunno if this is the right forum but I am thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend. I'm scared because I don't want to go back to being lonley. :-(
 
I will pray the Holy Spirit guides you in this decision. As none of us know the circumstances, I don't see how we could offer an honest/objective opinion as to the decision you face............

Oh no! :( We don't want you to feel lonely either. Based off of your words about him in your testimony, I imagine just the thought must feel pretty lousy right now. I'll be praying for you, no matter which course you take.

I've something similar on my plate, so like I said before: An open invitation to unload your thoughts/feelings over PM is always there.

I've never been on that side, but I imagine it can't be easy. Praying for you, my sister.
 
Being in a wrong relationship is worse than not being in one at all. And sometimes you still end up lonely in a bad relationship. Doing what you believe is right isn't always easy, but it much more rewarding in the long run.
And perhaps this reliance on others is the problem in itself. Learning to lean more on God than another person may be what God is calling you to do. You should still find relationship in God and in friendship. If this is not enough to sustain you and keep you out of bad relationships then you probably aren't ready anyways.

I remember when my brother was watching the first episode of Dragonball Z, a girl was complaining about a boyfriend she had just broken up with. An old guy said, "Breaking up is hard to do." A young man who had never had a girlfriend before said glumly, "I wouldn't know."
 
I say get a cat over a man. The cat won't talk so much and as long as you feed it its gonna be around giving you attention. Sorry only a thought. Follow your heart.
 
Well me and my bf talk and we decided not to break up because we were able to work out all our issues. Thanks for all your input!

SHHHH! How are we single guys supposed to get a date if you give the girls advice like that?

Of course you're right, cats are much better than guys. But don't let the girls know that!

If she's gonna replace a man with any animal, she should get a dog. Can't play fetch or go on a walk/run with a cat. Although a family friend I knoe does walk her bird...
 
Pray about this. I know it's hard, but just give yourself and your boyfriend to the Lord. Who would you trust more than Him with your love life? Let Him take the wheel and enjoy the ride.

If you feel that you need to break up with this man, then pray about it and the Lord will give you an answer.

Try to find peace and comfort in the Lord and focus on your relationship with him. I've always heard that Jesus wants us satisfied in him first and once we do that, we end up finding a life partner. So don't go off looking for love, when the best love is already there with you :) If you are meant to be married Jesus will send him to you. If not, then you still have the Lord. Be happy and satisfied in him.
