I like trolls. They go good in a stew with potatoes, onions, and a pinch of salt.

Because I am Afrikaans I struggle with things like
1) proof and prove
2) Safe and save
3) too and to
4) Bake and fried (yesterday LOL in Afrikaans bake is bake and fried)

English is my second language and sometimes I giggle when I see myself mixing up the tenses

Good on you, mate! English is my first language though, so I have no excuse (except for mild dyslexia).

Most of this is getting it settled that one of each of those pairs is a verb, and the other, a noun.

An easy way to remember the to/too problem is that "too" (with an extra "o") means MORE in some way... or "in addition to" (still, the MORE concept.)......... thus, it has MORE "O's" in the word.

you're so cool , huh? .... this is weird.... but, this one post is cool, yes. sorry the other one you replied to hasn't yet found peace in christ jesus. let us pray that he does soon. may he ask for the real and true purpose for living that yahweh has for him, and learn it willingly and joyfully and peacefully and readily (without waiting any time or too long - we never know when it's time to go; yahweh knows though, and the end is at hand).....

Male & Female words still throw me.... and then you have to remember that any associative phrasing has to match the gender.

I'm the person you answered, and Jeff was using your unrelated post to continue taking shots at me.

But, that's cool with me.... I will continue to say the same thing, no matter what thread I'm in...... till I get tired of the harassment, then I just don't bother to respond.
