The NKJV is not only not a revision of the King James Bible because it is taken from manuscripts which disagree with the manuscripts used for the King James Bible, it is NOT easier to read than the King James Bible. It changes a lot of simple words into complicated words and phrases because copyright law demands a certain amount of SUBSTANTIAL changes from what the new version is derived from. If you will look at the book mentioned in the OP, you will see this and a lot more.
The lie that new versions are easier to understand was perpetrated to sell copies. The King James Bible is written at the fifth grade reading level. Because of copyright laws demanding a large number of substantial changes, modern versions are cannot be less than the sixth grade reading level.
The King James Bible is not copyrighted. Publishers copyright their footnotes, but the version is not copyrighted.
All modern versions are copyrighted with or without footnotes and they had to have a large number of substantial changes to secure copyrights, and those changes show in complicating simple words into longer phrases and changing simple words into more complicated words which obscure meanings in the context. The editors of those modern versions were UNGODLY people...Wecsott and Hort were wicked men, ungodly,....the NIV had a known lesbian as an editor equal in authority to the others and they all knew she was a lesbian and this is no secret, no rumor, easily found with a fast websearch.
This and much more is in the book mentioned in the OP. I studied all of the arguments in the OP book as well as all of the arguments agaisnt the King James Bible long before the internet was invented and even longer before the book in the OP was written. Somehow people have become convinced that they have to reject all arguments supporting the King james Bible as the only English translation of the Word of God without studying those arguements, and somehow they think that by standing on one side of the argument and refusing to listen to the other side, they are automatically smarter and better than God because God failed to give us His Word in English and they have the Holy Ghost to try to find the lost Word of God.

Joe, I read no Bible when Jesus opened my eyes to Him. Jesus is the Living Word and can use a newspaper to glorify Himself. I have since studied the KJV with a Strong's Concordance for over 30 years now and yet every single time the Lord revealed something to me personally, it was often in opposition to the dogma I was brainwashed with in various religious institutions. Such as guilt and shame. Oh my, could I derail this OP with the way the Lord delivered me from legalism and condemnation! I'll save it for another time, tho.
Praise God! Anyhow, what of the imprisoned Christians who are persecuted and who don't have access to a Bible at all? What about the disciples and the Christians in Jesus' time before the Bible was even written? How did they learn? Seriously, do you actually believe God is so limited that He cannot reach people if they don't have a KJV Bible?
As for my prayer which you believe didn't get past the ceiling, any words that pass through my lips to my Father's ears is heard. Because my Father is faithful. All His promises to me are YES and AMEN!

If you want to lose respect for me because I fail to worship the King James then have a ball.....I don't have to impress you mi amigo.......and to say you would lose respect for me because I have studied history very well and refuse to acknowledge a BOOK written by men is laughable at best....oh well....whatever bro......!

What are you trying to say about the versions of the bible being at a certain reading level?
It comes down to believing God preserved His Word as He desired to do and promised to do or believing you are more powerful than God in ability to bring His Word into the English language.
I thought I was clear. Read it again.
The changes made in the NKJV not only complicated many simple words and passages, it changed hundreds of words lessening the high placement of LORD, Holy, omiting many things..........
People need to smell the coffee and start seeing that they have been lied to about modern versions.

I grew up with modern translations of the Bible and I have never questioned God's existence, Christ being God's Son (and God in the flesh), Christ's sacrifice for our salvation, the work of the Holy Spirit and all the other main tenants that make up the Christian faith. So, you KJV-Onlyists don't really have a leg to stand on.

Are you trying to say that because the different versions of the bible are at either a 5th and 6th grade level we shouldn't have any problem reading them and understanding them?
I'm trying to say a lot of things fast...I spent hours saying these things in other posts today with much more detailed documentation of the omissions, deletions, and changes made by the NKJV. It is NOT the Word of God.
It's a twisted version full of changes that insult God in many ways and insult the buyers of those versions by making them believe lies such as that their editors were godly or the versions are easier to understand because of modern language.

Careful now mate...He will lose all respect for you if you fail to worship the version at the exclusion of all the others...........He already lost respect for me because I will stand on the historicity of how the King James came about instead of reading, believeing and swallowing hook, line and sinker some MODERN best selling book........I am devastated by this.....NOT!

Well, you got me there. I did not write a best selling book. And I wasn't being antagonistic or hostile toward you. I was just explaining that it's not wise to accept condemnation and gossip about other Christians. I was advising people to research the matter themselves.

Let me ask you this, Joe ~ if the KJV is the only Bible to read, what did it teach you about the love and grace of Jesus Christ?I'm trying to say it's a lie of the publishers to make you think their new version, which is not the Word of God but only twisted imitations, are easier to read than the King james Bible. They are not. They change many simple words into garbled phrases that don't make sense and the King james Bible is obviously simpler and easier to understand.
These things are documented in long detail in the book referenced in the OP. There is much more there.
I'm simply trying to get people to see that they have be LIED to about the modern versions, they are NOT the Word of God, they do NOT convey the Word of God, and they do NOT contain the Word of God. They purposely attack the Word of God, they purposely attack the faith of God, and the purposely attack the Church by saying we have no sound basis of our faith because we can't really say what it is in English.

So... basically, you're saying we're so dumb that we don't even realise we're not that dumb? That we just THINK the KJV is more convoluted to read than it actually is? D'oh, all this time...
What I love about this argument is it's the reverse of the usual KJVO argument. Usually, they tell us that we should be working harder to understand God's word, that the archaisms of the KJV make it more beautiful or whatever. Heck, some of the more nuanced KJV proponents on this board have said they occasionally find it a little impenetrable and need aids or other translations to assist in understanding it.
Props at least for taking a novel tack.

I believe God preserved his word by, having copies sent everywhere in the known world. We are still finding copies that date back before anything that the king jimmy translators had. The kjv is a translation of erasmus greek text. He even wanted to use codex vaticanius but could not because of time constraints. The NKJV uses the same text as the kjv and has textual footnotes from the nu text. You get both in the nkjv. The 1611 kjv had marginal notes, were those inspired? I have the Majority text and the nestle aland new testament . I use the kjv and the conservative modern text. Saying that the KJV is inspired is saying the translators were inspired and they denied that in the translators to the reader. So were the translators inspired? no was erasmus inspired? no they translated a text that was compiled from the original inspired text.
