"Just a sincere question. In your view, if a person loves God and their neighbor, do they then need to concentrate on the literal words of commandments to obey them and show that love, or by simply loving God and others will they obey God's commands without having to refer to them?"
"..In your view..." doesn't matter one iota. what is God's view - that's what counts.
He wants us concentrating on HIM. seeking HIM with our lives immersed completely always in Yahshua.
not on trying to keep a list of rules or regulations....
delight in HIM, in HIS WORD, like KING DAVID, or rather like YAHSHUA(of course),
and like all the ekklesia. everywhere. all the time. DELIGHT IN YAHWEH'S WORD.
IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF you are a new creation. IF IF IF IF IF IF you have a new heart and new soul and new spirit -
BORN BY THE WILL OF YAHWEH and not man and the flesh....
THEN THEN THEN THEN THEN THEN you will love to do what YAHWEH wants to do - what you see Him DO, you will DO,
what YAHWEH SPEAKS, you will speak. so simple, true, and pure.
and YAHWEH faithfully honors HIS OWN WORD more than HE honors HIS OWN NAME. -- so
you don't have to worry or concentrate or even think at all that YAHWEH will break one of HIS OWN WORDS(commandments).....
now,
back to being a son of yahweh. since yahweh won't break one of his own commandments, ever.
and a son does what he sees his father doing, (if he's really a son, or a good son anyway(by yahweh's own word)).
then a son won't break one of yahweh's words(commandments), BUT he will rejoice over them instead - he will
joyfully and willingly and whole-heartedly BE A DOER OF THE WORD and not a HEARER ONLY.
EVERYTHING the FATHER SAYS TO DO, the son will do. always, day and night, for the rest of his life.....
