Oh yeah lol sorry. My husband has one of those xbox things thats why I ask, I dont know what it is called is why I called it "a thingy". Its in my house so should I smash my husbands x box?

I mean wheres the demons at in the xbox?

Like how do they come out of there?
I think they curse them with unholy water. And then the demons are just drawn to it like magnets. It's like a beehive for demons.

a generation back its was heavy metal music, go further back and piano's were evil. now i agree everything can have a positive or negative influence which varies per individual. but at the same time we know the main tool of the enemy is fear, and we have to be careful where to draw the line, for none of us would want to be used by the enemy to promote fear,
Thats what I need, some good scriptural examples of Satan using fear

Could we please spell deliverance the proper way? Call me snobbish, but it reassures me everyone actually knows what they are talking about...or not

No, Christians cannot be possessed, however, they sure can be harrassed and just generally messed up

Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. II Corinthians 2

Imagine this, or better yet, actually believe it, unforgiveness alone gives the devil a foothold into your life

Are you aware of his schemes? I don't think many believers are...we have exaggeration and a demon under every pew on one side and then we have the other side in total denial...I'm a Christian and the devil can't touch me

Both are unbalanced and unbiblical.

ps: mocking is not good...but please don't stop on my account. I'll do the wincing for you

For those who are new to the term, its the casting out of demons. The very first experience I had with the casting out of demons was in my pre-teen years. My behavior had been altered strangely after visiting a friends home and playing a certain video game. MY parents decided to "take me through deliverance" by praying in Jesus name by faith to command the demon that seemingly enter through the game activity, to leave me. It worked. That was the first opening to the area of Ministry that God called my life to. Since then I have seen and had the privilege of ministering deliverance in Jesus name to others with the same with much more dramatically and drastic change for the better. Problems I have seen a/effecting the youth today are the result of the indwelling of evil spirits. I have even prayed for young babies, only months old and seen God touch them, the demon leave and the mom get their normal child restored to them. Much of Jesus Christ's ministry was marked by the casting out of demons, and from the lips of Jesus Christ we know that deliverance is primarily for the "christian". For those who Believe that a Christian can't have a demon, please read the following. Matthew 15.Luke 11.2 Corinthians 7. The very fact that people think that casting out demons is not for believers makes no sense for the fact that unbelievers have no ground for salvation. They are not protected by the blood of Jesus so they have no protection against evil. People argue that The Holy Spirit can't be in with demons. As if Spirits need to occupy space? Demons dwell primarily in the area of manifesting in your flesh. The Holy Spirit will hold the ground of the Heart of the Believer. Its the Believers job to give over the rest of the control to Him. If that means removal of demon spirits then by all means get them out! Drugs, Drinking, Cutting, burning, self abuse, schizophrenia, and many many other clinically named problems can almost always be dealt with by casting out a demon spirit. Or even thousands of them. Do you need deliverance?

What 1 Cor 12 revelation gifts do you operate in?

People with good grammar are often dumb as doornail's in common sense type things though.

I believe (at least online) people refer to someone who corrects other folks grammar as "the grammar police", and they can be as annoying as those misspellings you probably can't overlook.

Which is perfect for this thread, because I was thinking, what if there is something more here then meets the eye?

Do you go into convulsions at bad grammer?

Do you find you cannot help exalt yourself over someone else when a word they post is spelled (spelt?) incorrectly?

Does this ressemble how you feel inside when you see someone elses word spelling specks?

You could have a problem worse then an x box

Does a false sense of superiority flood into you after you have corrected someones grammer?

Do you covet others to see you as the genious you know you are?

If so, thank God for that spelling error then, because that error could have been used as a means to draw you into the very thread you needed to be a part of (for your own delEverence).

Maybe we can call it dumb luck?

My personal experience in deliverance has been with games by console type/make. Please don't take this and set it up as a doctrine, but for example most recent Xbox modern warfare. Each game should be weighed in the light of Gods word. If it doesn't line up with the principles given then it has the potential to open the door to invasion by demons.
My friends Grandson was playing some game and was attacked by a spirit, is why i asked. Thank You!
I know it sounds silly, but it is a true story.

Demon possession is something quite real as the Bible demonstrates. However it doesn't happen to believers. When Jesus is Lord, He takes possession of each believer's life, through the Holy Spirit's indwelling; and does not share us with other spirits.

When a person (always an unbeliever) is demon posessed he is rarely aware of his need for delivarence; so your OP question is meaningless.
