It's raining here.

A bit chilly here this morning (32 F) but that's not too bad for early a.m. Meeting two friends in a couple of hours to do some history snooping in the ground. Gonna feel good just getting out :)

it's possible, but it's also possible the battery is completely shot and won't accept a recharge. there are ways to test it yourself, but if you know nothing about cars or electricity, best thing IMO is to get the car to autozone or advance auto or o'reilly etc. -- they will hook up a machine to the car for free that can tell you if it's the alternator or battery.
you can try putting the battery from another car into yours, and putting your battery into a car you know works fine. if your battery is bad, the other car won't be able to recharge it either (it'll also die after you jump it off). if your alternator is bad, your car will use up the charge in the 'good' battery too - your headlights will keep getting dimmer and the car will eventually die.

sounds like your family is good to help you! isn't that a blessing?!
good to hear.
Had that happen once and it was the battery.

But yet,...thank you dear God,....that my Bible is not made of Chocolate!
Because I want to study Your holy scripture....not eat it! Lol
Love you Jesus! I praise His name! Hallelujah

Too late.....looks like chocolate.....be blessed anyway....

From what i could tell yes.... but until she fully wakes up and opens her eyes i dont know... shes responsive enough to wriggle her eye brows, and to squeeze arms and hands... but other than that... not much going on. she can hear us... just cant see or talk to us just yet.
We will remain in prayer for her LilBit. And thank you for keeping us up to date :)

One of the worst winter storms I ever saw in this part of the country took place the first week of April. I forget the year but seems like it was in the seventies.
1977?

Ya I think we're tracking with eachother. People also forget how important it is to change the air in your tires every 3 or 4 oil changes. Stale air in tires can cause premature breakdown in the inner walls of the tire.
I change the juice in my battery about every six months or so. Just leave the headlights on overnight and it drains all that old juice out and then I hook a charger to it to put fresh juice back in.

No, this one is real. It is almost always in the front passenger area somewhere.... it's a fuel shut off that is supposed to work if the car is impacted.
Usually takes a pretty hard whack to engage it though. Unless the car got bumped pretty hard, I would doubt that is the problem.
