No, that is not what everyone here is saying. If you were to carefully read thru what everyone is saying they believe they can be out of fellowship with Christ (God), which implies they can abide in sin and still be saved. For most here at CC have already voted that you can be out of fellowship with the Lord and still be saved.

Confession of sin is the only thing whereby they can get their heart right with the Lord (1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). For a believer can bring back a brother or sister who has erred from the truth and they can help for them to be converted again (i.e. to be renewed spiritually again by the Lord) whereby a multitude of their sins will be covered and their soul will be saved from death (i.e. spiritual death) (See James 5:19-20).
If I went to a wedding and drank too much alcohol and got killed in a car crash on the way home and died before I asked God to forgive me, would I go to hell?

But the Bible cannot be isolated to the passage here above in John 14, though. Scripture has to be compared with other Scripture. Do a study on the "fear of the Lord" in the Bible. Go to blueletterbible.org and do a search on the word "fear." When you are done doing the study, then ask yourself if you should fear God or not (In regards to sin a believer's life). For when was sin ever acceptable to God concerning His people? Would not God be condoning sin by allowing His people to get away with it? In other words, would not a parent be bad for letting their child to get away with in doing evil things? Is not God our ultimate Father or parent?

this is too easy to answer (a pre-school infant in Israel may well be able, if trained by righteous parents).

no. you wouldn't go to hell. at least not until after judgment day, if ever.

yes. within a few days probably, you would go to the grave. (you would be buried, unless there wasn't enough left to bury)

please don't argue about this or ask questions of goyim.... they have so little understanding.... (yes, even the 'educated' ones, apparently, from this forum)

I think its possible to not be a sinner rather than to live without sin. Being a sinner means you practice the sin or sins just as a player practices hisher sport or what have you. While I do think sins that require action should be controllable but sins of the heart are far less manageable

note that in the verse you quoted,

most people on earth are expressly excluded from "we" ..... and "us"...


just like in the flood.

so, test everything, and work out any possible salvation with fear and trembling and

look up what it is written in the NT >> "be afraid" of, or "be terrified" lest ...... see what is written....

and guard your heart and mind above anything, and from anything, that might distract you.(from God).

Not true. First, people have already replied to what I have said so far (Including the verses). Second, whether somebody here at CC reads about the different types of OSAS or not, I know someone else in time could potentially run accross this thread by doing a search on this topic. I know, because I have ran into some very interesting discussions on Christian forums many times (without joining the forum) as a part of researching something in God's Word thru searching the internet.

First, get this straight, NO ONE in this forum says you can be saved and go about sinning willfully. You may have seen this in some other forum, but this is THIS FORUM and NO ONE says it.
People don't have to say it. The doctrine itself (without proper guidance) will lead a person to the thinking they can sin and still be saved (All by itself). But I do see folks preaching one thing and then saying another thing on the topic of morality. They are subtle. Besides, there ARE people who will flat out admit that you can sin and still be saved. I have talked with them many times. Besides, I was not saying that anyone here personally believes in a sin and still be saved doctrine. I have no idea what people believe unless they tell me. However, what is interesting is that when I preach against such a doctrine or false belief of one who sins with the thinking they are saved, they have problems with me saying that. Why would one have a problem with a doctrine they don't believe? So no, you would be wrong again.

Do you notice how you NEVER get likes? It is because no one even bothers to read your long posts. There is a reason for that. It is because we have heard it all from you, and we have rejected your stance as unbiblical, and also on any level, very confused.
Do you honestly think I am writing here to get "likes"? I am here to love God and to love others. I am here to lead them to the truth in what God's Word says (And not in what they would like it to say). Also, again, others here have commented on my posts (Unless you and or others are telling them to specifically not to reply to me or something). People will reply because they want to love others and set them straight (According to God's Word). If you feel that any of the passages I have stated are unbiblical, you are more than welcome to discuss the Scriptures with me in a kind and loving way back and forth. For we are on a BIble discussion forum and not on a "Let's criticize others" forum.

Try actually reading what we post, instead of posting 10 things in a row that no one bothers to read. Or, put another way, no one believes you, and your posts just convince us how wrong you are in your theology, and especially your soteriology!
Again, folks here have already replied. So it's a little late to be saying otherwise. Also, again, you are welcome to discuss what with what I believe in what Scripture plainly teaches.

Yes.

Because God knows if a person loves their sin more than they do Him. People who will be with the Lord love the Lord. People who are destroyed are the wicked because they love their sin (And they do not love God). See the "Condemnation" mentioned in John 3:19-21.

amen, brother..and may I compliment your spiritual attitude and knowledge, in the answers and rebuttals that I have read that have come from your direction. We need more holy spirit filled men like you who have and make use of their spiritual gift(s). Jesus died so that we can have power to overcome sin..and yes, we need to confess our sins. However, GOD, in all of HIS wisdom, does know the heart of HIS own who follow HIM..and when He sees that our last breath on earth just may have not been a complimentary word there, however, the blood of JESUS has already forgiven that 'dirty' word. When we confess, while living, it shows that we are humble and have a conscience that pricks us when we do that which is not in line with the will of our Father.

Well, when you read Romans 5:8 you also have to read Romans 6:1-2 that says,

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"

And,

"
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? " (Romans 6:16).

For Paul says,

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Correction......

Noah got drunk and HAM made fun of him....
Lot's daughters got him drunk and lay with him.....

The answer is still no......getting drunk once, having a wreck and getting killed does not send one to hell and to say yes is plain ignorant.......
