I agree, but I would say weddings it does get a little lonely especially when you have family that keeps asking when are you going to get married.

I am happy and content by myself but I don't necessarily want to grow old alone. My husband passed away in 2005 and I miss all the fun things we used to do together. I wouldn't mind finding a friend to go on outings with or dinner or a concert. But it's kinda hard to find someone my age who enjoys Radiohead concerts and who appreciates my talent for making awesome sound effects.

it's where you develop a shell, not an ordinary shell, one that slowly grows vines with pickers, anyone comes close they get cut, you start to mutate.....the face just becomes chemically imbalance........ you start to become a creature of the unknown......you can't look in the mirror or you will scare yourself...........your mind.........your mind will think it's a home for all the crazies....multiple personalities enter......seeking a home in your mind and you become unstable............................. yeah too single isn't pretty.......

Yeah, at weddings those old ladies used to pinch my cheek and cackle, "You're next!" They stopped doing that when I started doing the same thing to them at funerals...
No, I don't really do that. Though sometimes it's tempting.
i'm glad no one asks me when i'm getting married. i think those who know me well know NOT to go there lol on sunday, one of pastor's friends (older gentleman) visited, and as he was getting to know us, he asked everybody who's married and not. when i said i wasn't married, he asked, "well are you looking for a boyfriend?" noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. "cuz there's singles at my church!" -_-
