That's very commendable and heart warming, i appreciate your words. The problem i face is that i think i have it only to then have it dash away from me (story of my life, lol). I really know nothing i just think i might know something. I sometimes just want to say stick it but i might just stick with it and see where it leads me, wherever that somewhere is, haha. It is quite confusing but i guess that is just the way it is.
I can only use an idiom to answer with any conviction, hence 'take at face value' i try to trust all the Bible, i have to learn to trust, besides, my adversary is at large, i have to try to be aware at all times, i have to work my way through this quagmire.
The Holy Bible informs the reader that if you worship the Name Lord, you will be saved.
Thus, if you worship His name as Triune (Father, Son, Spirit) you will be saved.
Those that deny that The Creator is Triune, will perish.
Simple Biblical truth...
Saved from what ?, death?, i'm going to grow old and die just like most other human beings do, so i can't necessarily be saved from death.
So God's name is triune?
Perish from what?, i already agree that i will grow old and die, but do you mean to say that God will kill me in a violent untimely manner?, did you speak to God recentley and He told you this in person?.

well, all the bibles use 'lord' in the christian greek scriptures... except the New World Translation, which uses 'Jehovah'. so, which will you trust?
No idea, not 100% sure of anything, just have to see how things go i suppose, that question you put to me is simply unanswerable right now.
Just a point, isn't there a scripture that says no man can come to the Father (i presume God) except through the Christ?, so, all JW's are doing is going through the Lord Jesus Christ to their Heavenly Father Jehovah God. The thing is JW's believe that Jehovah is the one and only true God and that Jesus Christ the Son of God is in subordination to his Almighty Father Jehovah God, which makes sense because a Son denotes someone lesser than a Father, that's logical really.
I am not greater than my son, nor am I less than my father. So Napoleon was less than his father? Someone should have told him. It would also mean compared with the murderers who abounded in the Middle Ages we are less than them? That is nonsense. It is only in his youth that a man is less than his father. Once he is matured he is equal, or even superior to his father.
The whole purpose that Jesus had in describing Himself as in a Father Son relationship was to stress His equality with the Father. He is of the same nature and being. Father and Son are God together. So your logic collapses.
Maybe you misunderstood. Of course a father is greater than his son, a father and his son can coexist at the same time and in the same place but they never can be equal in age, obviously and that's what i'm saying.
No it doesn't collapse, a father and his son can be one together or in union with each other, but they can't be the same person. it's like saying dad and son are the same age, lol.

that's cool... here's something you can test out, then...
in all english versions of the christian greek scriptures in common circulation then name of God is rendered 'lord' when quoting the hebrew scriptures...
similar with all widely accepted greek texts... 'lord'

so, the jw's also say that saying God's name is really important... did you want to talk about that anymore?
one thing not often talked about... in revelation, in heaven, they say 'Halleluia'... those last two letters are a greek way of spelling the yh of yhwh... so, you could make a case to call God 'ia', just like 'yah'
well, since the name of God appears almost 7000 times in the hebrew scriptures, and 0 in the christian greek scriptures...
it makes sense to me to follow the practices of the apostles and prophets that wrote the christian greek scriptures.
John is quite clear in his gospel that Jesus the Son is equal to God the Father.
"18 This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God." John :18
So the Jews actually wanted to kill Jesus for making himself equal with God. If Jesus was truly God, then he would not have corrected the Jews. If he was some kind of lesser "god" he would have stopped a lot of trouble for himself by merely saying, "Hey, you have me wrong, I am not equal to God the Father." But he did not! John is very clear to point out that the Pharisees were after Jesus for two reasons:
1. Breaking the Sabbath (really the manmade laws!)
2. Making himself equal with God.
Of course, there is the rest of John which upholds the view that Jesus is equal with God, and of course, the rest of the New Testament.
In Revelation, John calls Jesus the "Alpha and Omega" which he applies equally to the Father.
"8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Rev. 1:8
In Greek the words LORD God are κύριος, ὁ θεός, where kurios replaces the holy tetragram YHWH יהוה which is the name of the Father in the Masoretic Old Testament. The Septuagint uses kurios for the name of God. Really, the Hebrews never used the Holy Tetragram, but substitued the name "Adonai" for the name of God. So, if you do text comparisons, there is no New Testament text that uses the Hebrew Holy Name. And Jehovah is just a bad German translation of YHWH.
Jesus is also referred to by the same title, the Alpha and the Omega. In the end of Revelation, it is Jesus talking to John.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Rev. 22:13
As far as a good New Testament Greek bible, I use the UBS or United Bible Societies. It is good because it cites every variation in every known early manuscript. The New World translation is a joke, a beginning Bible language student could do a better job of translating than the NWT.
Very simple theology the Trinity, really. Much better than the polytheistic JW's with a greater god and a lesser god. That is heretical and does not reflect anything in the Biblical text.

Well if that makes you happy then that is a good thing isn't it, if someone wants to worship Jehovah God who are you to say what they can do or can't do?, what business is it of anyones?
