I had a very late lunch... and it was heavy... plus went and had cheese cake as dessert earlier this evening :)

I am quite full now lol
 
Had a sandwich with ham and pea soup for lunch then later for supper I had Goulash and veggies and a yoghurt it was good :)
 
Noooooooooooooooooooo ... we got more snow today and it continues as I type this! Soooooo envious of those of you who are where the temps are hot and you are enjoying the sunny weather and bbq'ing!!

Science is the major challenge that all religious institions will have to over come. Since the churches have now lost a lot of their power and are losing their influence upon many fronts, in this ever changing world of information. Another big factor is some of the derogative statements writen in the Christian Bibles. These statement's I have listed are all in the Bible. Weather they are true or false the layman like myself may never know for sure. But most preists will insist it is the word of god.

It's just that in Canada, the winters are soooooo long and it seems to drag out. Last week we had warm(er) temps and the snow was beginning to melt and we even saw a patch of grass! Now again, everything is snow covered and cold. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the weather wasn't so cold. I am REALLY looking forward to this:

I have read this book many times and continue to find contradictions and atrocities comanded by god. What all powerful all knowing and loving god would condone the following atrocities .... JOSHUA 10:10-27*God helped Joshua slaughter the Gibeonites.JOSHUA 10;28*With God’s approval, Joshua put the city of Makkedah" to the sword and totally destroyed everyone in it. He left no survivors."JOSHUA 10:30*The Lord gave the city of Libnah to Joshua. Everyone in the city was "put to the sword."JOSHUA 10:32-33*God gave his approval as Joshua killed every man, woman and child in Lachish with the sword.JOSHUA 10:34-35*Everyone in the city of Eglon was killed by the sword of Joshua and his army.JOSHUA 10:36-37*God approved as Joshua killed the king of Hebron, its villages and every citizen. "They left no survivors."JOSHUA 10:38-39*Joshua took Israel’s army to attack Debir. They killed everyone.JOSHUA 11:6*God commanded Joshua to defeat the enemy at the Waters of Merom. "You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots."JOSHUA 11:8-15*Joshua’s army, under God’s command, did not spare "anyone that breathed."JOSHUA 11:20*"For it was the LORD himself who hardened their hearts to wage war against Israel, so that he might destroy them totally, exterminating them without mercy, as the LORD had commanded Moses." All this from a god who throughout this book contradicts himself. Where was his love for mankind when these atrocities were comanded.

I know what Canadian winters are like...I live 2 miles from Canada....we get pretty much the same weather, give me cold over heat.

Yes, there are a lot of folks who prefer the cold weather over the hot, and I was content with winter when I was a youngen'. Now that I'm an old bat, give me heat darnit all!! hehe
 
I'll trade ya Roxxy my sunshine vs. your snow...I have always loved cooler weather....I think like this...You can always warm up more and more...but you have more of a limit to how much cooler you can get....ok I never said the philosophy made any sense..smile
