With the celibration of Jesus's resurection coming soon, I have been thinking alot about the price He paid for our sins.
I do wonder if we are aware of the freedom He won for us, not just for our own sins, but for those who sins, offend us every day.
I was strugfgling with an offence that has been commited against me, and continues to be commited still this day.
I forgive every day, but there was a part of my heart, that asked, when will I be justfied, when will this person be held accountible for the ongoing offence?
The damage has been so great, and Im sure others here have known such, where the injury continues.
I was asking Jesus, please help me in this.
When Jesus's answer was set before me, clear and perfect.

" I have already paid the price for their sin."

Wow! :) Jesus already paid the price, not just for sins commited against God Our Father.
But for the sins we commited against each other.
In Jesus, the sin account has been paid in full.
No wonder forgivness is so important, for it is in forgivness, that the account is recieived, cleared. :)

Thankyou dear Jesus, for freeing me not just from my own sins, offences, but for freeing us all from those commited against us.

I might not have spoken perfectly to this, Im just greatful that Jesus brings what is perfect. :)

I know I had someone that had been an irritant to me several years ago and I wanted justice and vindication right away and I was complaining to God about it and the thought came to me...Maybe you should pray for them instead.......maybe they don't have anyone praying for them and this is partly why they are the way they are. So I started to pray for that person.... Well I don't know that it changed them so much, but it was hard for me to continue to feel resentment and anger toward them and maybe just maybe that praying changed me....to look at things a little different and for me to have more compassion toward that person.....

Forgiveness is sometimes hard to give and makes me take a closer look at God and all He has done to forgive us when we sin against Him.....Loved your post and glad you are here as I have missed you....Hope you are doing well.....God bless you.

Thankyou Jesus for forgivness!
It is the scripture, by His stripes we are healed that moved me greatly.
You are so right about the importance of forgivness, for it through forgivness that the wounds , injuries we recieved are healed.
When we are injured by another, its like a spear wound was put in our body, soul, blood pouring out.
In forgiving, Jesus fills us with His life giving waters, replacing the blood that was pouring out bringing His unending waters to pour out instead, bringing life not just to our wounded body's, souls, but to all our life witnesses to.
Maby the significance of why first blood came out of the spear wound put in Jesus's body, then water?

Also, thankyou, my health is slowly improving, mostly it has been just learning about what the cause has been. :)
I do miss all here though. :)

Jesus paid the price, and made it possible by paying that price for us to recieve the free gift of The Holy Spirit. Many accept that Jesus paid the price to make it possible for us to recieve the free gift. I thought it good to remind us of this...

Matthew 25:24-30King James Version (KJV)

24*Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25*And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26*His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

I wouldn't presume that whomever is committing an offense against you on a daily basis has been forgiven. Jesus paid the price for all those who repent of their sins, but nothing is paid in full unless that obligation is met. Don't mean to rain on your parade, but if the offense is ongoing, the offender may not have been automatically forgiven. "Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones" (Luke 17:1-2). And according to Luke 17:3, your not necessarily required to forgive a person who intentionally and repeatedly trespasses against you.

In all holy scriptures, a nation has to repent for its sins or they will perish by the hand of God. Only exception are people who repent and follow a straight path to their Lord.

Luke 13

Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloamfell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

No one else can pay for others sins.

Noah called people to God but they sinned and rebelled. They perished with flood
pharaoh of Egypt perished.
Lut called people to God but they sinned and rebelled. they perished.

True, but the freedom won through forgivness is not just for the offender, but more greatly for we who are offended.
Jesus is trully the healing of our wounds, and in forgivness, our wounds are healed.
As to the repeat offender, I often consider the parable about the master who hired some at the beginning of the day, some in the middle, and some at the end.
All recieved the same pay.
For God's salvation and love cannot be mesured, it is given.
I do not want to go through my life, being bound or holding any bound in unforgivess, for even though we might not now see the joy of salvation in thier llives, we do not know when they will seek to work for the master.
I dont quite know how to best explain such, but , unforgivness is a wound that eats at one's soul, binding them to the flesh.
When we consider how greatly our sins offended God, His plan to forgive us before we sinned, now with us always in Jesus, paid for, we only have to ask, recieve it.
How can I so greatfully recieve God's forgivness given in Jesus, if I am unwilling to forgive the offender myself.
It was this forgivness that changed us, His mercy that softened us, Jesus taking our sins upon Himself that gave us new life.
How can we rejoice and profess such a gift, and not forgive.
For it this forgivness that moves the hearts of many.
Every day this is my prayer, that I will learn from Jesus, to forgive, as He has forgiven me.

For those who do refuse, their judgement belongs to God.

Pickles- You have to fully forgive your deep seeded resentment. God allowed it to happen as to prove your faith. Refer to Abraham, Job, and Jesus. Earthly pain is just pain. Dont let it turn into death. You have got to recognize that full forgivness of the thorn in your side shows complete dedication to Jesus Christ.
