Pertaining to the cross.
The word "Paradise" is used this once. (in reference to what we all can assume is Heaven?)
Jesus tells the thief that he will be with Him there, that very day.
Yet?
Jesus tells Mary in John 20:17, that "I have not yet ascended to My Father"?
Thoughts?
Just wondering?
Just conversation, no baiting........Easter and all.

Paradise, as spoken of by Jesus, is often called the Bosom of Abraham, where all souls of the believers reside until the return of Christ our King. This is how I have heard it explained. It is not where the Throne of God is, ergo why Jesus said He had not yet ascended...........People can agree or disagree with this concept, I simply take a wait and see attitude towards what happens when our earthly life passes as it pertains to our Spiritual lives.
Do we go to this Paradise? Do we go straight to Heaven to receive our reward (Mansion, etc....)? Do we just hang around down here waiting for all the various End Times ideologies to play out? We know the earthly body is in the grave, but the spiritual body has to be somewhere.
I have personal thoughts, but they will remain personal. What I know for sure is that if I do as Jesus stated, and run the race with patience and endure, I will receive the eternal life promised to me. In the end, that's what really matters.
I'd love to share this blog entry by brother Dennis. Loved it so much and I believe it's a good time to be reminded of it. Our new life in Jesus.

I will pray for peace for all of Gods children, that we shine like a bright light for Gods glory, that God touch the souls that we are led to converse with, that we're strengthen in Christ through all adversity, that His words be sharp in our hearts and piercing the minds of disbelief, be blessed, Love and peace be with you all in Christ.
