OMLIVINGLORD!! This is fabulous! Thank you, thank you. Talk about God's timing. I do feel the enemy has tried to drive me from this site through unpleasant exchanges while trying to use my grief and loneliness against me. I do realize no place in real life or on the web will be perfect, and I'm not looking for that, but I am looking for where I fit in. So just last night I thought to leave and search something else. I'm sure there are a dozen or more christian type places on the net. Maybe in time I may do that but for now I'm thinking there are some things He would like to show me. AND THIS is some serious knowledge.
I've been writing a story and have been stuck for a while. So I've been waiting for inspiration and I do believe this is it. Thank you for posting this, KVJ1611, because it's amazingly spot on for what I needed. I do understand there is more so I'll be seeking that out but please know you have been an instrument of the Lord. What a blessing!
On the imagination side of my brain
I see myself sitting at the feet of Jesus and just learning. Just soaking in what He has to say. I've been running here, running there, and in truth running away. I hear Him inviting me, saying, "come and sit, listen, and learn because I have much to tell you." If I find myself separate from certain individuals it's because he's separated me for His purposes. I think sometimes we lose sight of that when life is overwhelming.
Again, thank you so much. Amazing how God steps in at the right moment.

If you like Mike's preaching, go to his church website at Bethel Church. I highly recommend Jesus Christ, DNA and the Holy bible. God is always spot on... he gives us exactly what we need when we need it.

Yes, I had heard some stuff about the NIV. We don't use it anymore. I'm basically KJV because that was my first bible and the one in my heart. So when the Holy Spirit brings up scripture to me, it's in the KJV language. What I'd really like is the Greek with the KJV, or something along that lines. He answered, Behold, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods! - Daniel 3:25 Amplified bible
I have the KJV/AMP parallel bible. But I always refer everything to the KJV first.
Thanks for cluing me in on this particular NIV verse. I know there are more but it's been some time since I googled them. But I can see it's in the AMP too. Man, can't let your guard down for a minute.
Sorta like reading along in Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life book and witnessing him purposely misinterpreting the Word of God for his agenda.
Yikes! Like the Holy Spirit opened my eyes in that moment but it took THAT one piece of scripture, and knowing the difference, to unfold everything else that wrong in his book. We cut up the pages and threw the books out. I didn't care how much they cost and we certainly weren't going to send them to Good Will and have someone else swallow his junk. But that understanding was only the tip of the iceberg in opening the doors to learn more about the mega and/or emerging churches and such. That was a few years ago but I'll never forget that particular Aha moment.
