The only time I ever craved liver and onions was when I was pregnant, man did it taste like prime rib to me too.

I was anemic which is likely why but wow, I wish I could duplicate how my tastebuds received it then lol

True story I saw a man sniffing different bags of cookies alone in the grocery once! When I came upon him he looked at me with shock! Like I caught him commitng a crime! It was awkward really. I just kinda smiled and walked on...lol

To each his own........I love fresh calves liver with sautéed red onion slices, mashed 'tatters 'n' sweet peas.........and I love fried chicken livers with biskits 'n' gravy and mashed 'tatters........

There are plenty of regional foods I don't care for though..........why I say, to each his own
