I know I'm getting old. I'm aching all over after a couple of hours leisurely shopping yesterday. I wouldn't mind so much but I didn't even buy anything to ease the pain lol.

It is the waking up any time all the time at night an never knowing if you get a few hours sleep or a semi good night sleep...Well at least it made me think I slept in today with the daylight savings time change in the US.... Do they do that over where you are MPW? Probably not we Americans do everything backwards or different from the rest of the world....Don't know why we think we are so special......Blond contemplates things like this.....

"Getting Old"
My knees are stiff,
and my elbows creak.
My snoring makes me
sound like some kind of freak.
My eyes are cloudy,
when I eat prunes,
my tummy says "howdy".
My back cracks,
and my neck does too.
Don't make fun of me
or I will sit on you.

Some people says man gets charming, and women gets ugly when older...
lol it won't stress me!... everyone will get older someday and deal with pains,
or other diseases... I pray the Lord I will have lovely children who will treat
me right till there... I also hope to reward my mom when she needs me, of
everything she did for me when I was a little child.
We all will go back to the childhood, won't we?...
Regular exercises and a good healthy alimentation helps a lot too... so it won't be
so difficult.
I hope I won't be a surly old lady...

It's rather scary to me, not the age but the aches I never had until the past year or so. I can't run anymore even though I would love to (used to run 5 miles a day). Pretty bad when you get up out of bed and something aches because you laid on it. I often wonder how it will be in another 10 years and I'm only going on 59.
I'm only 44 and already my hair is turning silver..alot more silver than brown now.. 
add to that, the fact I have arthritis in my knees and back, no wonder I feel so decrepit.. lol..

Seems to me it all goes downhill once you reach 50. I had this conversation at work today with another 50something. Still I guess we should be grateful we have reached our 50's lol.

I turned 27 this year. It's tragic.
But seriously, sorry to hear about the physical toll that comes with it for you, MPW! It (age) creeps up on all of us, sadly, but as long as there's some good from it, it's not so tragic.

I have no idea what your talking about...........because I refuse to get old..........I don't have aches...
no pains.......I just keep moving.......like a shark.....cause I know if I stop.......that age thing that you speak of.......might catch me when I'm not looking...........don't hate.......
