I am the guy who goes to the party and sits in a corner somewhere and just watches what everyone else is doing.
Good, then I won't be all alone
I'll be the one in the corner with a book

So it was you sitting in the corner?! Wonder who that creepy guy was :p

I am exactly the same. Unfortunately God blessed me with two left feet and when I enter the dance floor other exit... not by choice. I step on toes like cattle feeding at a trough.

I prefer tin ware. It doesn't break so easily.

I never learned to dance and cared absolutely nothing about it.
I've tried a little bush dancing and ballroom dancing, but whoever made up the rules that guys should lead in the dance, hasn't met most guys (we're not co-ordinated). Some guys are, but certainly not most. It's silly, really. I think most of the girls tried to get me to dance because they knew I'd be a nervous wreck and super-embarrassed. Thanks, girls.

Once upon a time I could dance pretty well on a pair of roller skates but take them off and my feet know not what they do.

My sugar pie JL, will be awake later making tourist breakfast! Yummy! Lol...lucky tourist righ?! I love that couple! I thank God they found one another!
I thank God too......many times, over and over.......Indiana is the only state I have been in that sells sugar cream pie in stores and it is to die for... I tried to find it in Kentucky when I lived there and brought home a custard pie thinking that was the same and was disgusted..... Thanks for calling me sugar pie cause the sugar cream is one of my very favorites....I'll see if I can find a picture of one.....You are such a sweetie Skylove....

Sugar Cream Pie
1 1/2 c. sugar, 6 Tbsp. flour, dash of salt
2 c. coffee cream, 1 tsp. vanilla, nutmeg
1/2 stick butter, sliced
1 – 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Mix sugar, flour, & salt; then add coffee cream and vanilla.
Pour into pie shell.
Cover with butter and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees for an additional 15 minutes

When it says coffee cream they mean either whipping cream or half and half.....also another pie recipe called for 2 eggs beaten...

This recipe was clipped from a newspaper and found in a large collection, date unknown. I’ve typed it out below along with a scanned copy.

Beat together 15 minutes: Two cups sugar, two tablespoons margarine, pinch of salt and two eggs. Then add five tablespoons flour; beat well. Add two cups milk, one teaspoon vanilla and dash of cinnamon or nutmeg. Put in unbaked pie shell; bake 15 minutes at 450; then reduce temperature to 350 and bake until set.

Make sure you use cream and not milk....hence the name sugar cream pie.....

I never learned to dance and cared absolutely nothing about it.
You just have to hear the right music that speaks to you and gives you rhythm like Steve Martin did. ;)
