K...........but will they clash with the color of your pets? ............. I'm thinking it would be wiser to select, oh, I dunno, maybe Crimson and white?
But my pets are orange. (OK so maybe the blue would clash) :)

I would like to pose a question to those on both sides of this debate:

What if when you get to heaven, you find out you were wrong? Will you be so disappointed as to not want to be there?
I would not not want to be there. If animals are not there, will we remember them? Will we remember people from this world who, uhm, 'didn't make it'?

So, the Lord God, the Great I Am, Jesus Christ our Savior are NOT reason enough to want to be in heaven? You require animals? What a strange theology that is.

Please apply it to John 3:16

Intended or not, you just put your love for animals before God and Christ. Wow

Thank you for your Christian compassion. You did not support anything besides your opinion without scripture. We do not know, We DO know!! but it sounds like you all have it figured out and probably are not a loving pet owner.

On the contrary! I have owned several dogs and a cat over the years. Want scripture?? Check here to see that ANIMALS were for the purpose of SACRIFICE
(Genesis 4:4;7:2-8;8:20) and for FOOD ( (Genesis 9:2,3; Leviticus 11:3,9,21,22; Deuteronomy 14:4-6,9,11,20)). There is NO mention of 'pets' in the Bible....neither for nor against the concept. There are some verses that pertain to the kindness of animals such as providing shade for cattle. Have you read them?

You asked a question and I answered it correctly. If you want 'compassion' rather than truth, maybe you should blog instead of asking in a forum where you WILL get truth.

Ok, reread them............and I still wonder why you said what you did?

I ASKED: Will you be so disappointed as to not want to be there?

YOU ANSWERED: I would not not want to be there. If animals are not there

No mistake in my reading this and seeing how you would not want to be in heaven if animals aren't there. That is exactly what you said. Which can only mean you place animals in such high esteem that God and Jesus Christ being present in Heaven is not reason enough to want to be there..............regardless of animals being present or not.

We had to have our dog put down due to being old and illness...do all dogs go to heaven? We were in the room with him when he was put to sleep and it was so sad and was just wondering if God created dogs to be man's best friend, do they go to heaven, too?
All things are possible with God. :)

Don't know who "the rest of us" is you are referring to other than those who subscribe to your theological ideology.....but I certainly won't be alone.............believe as you wish, and good for you.............

Your mistake was stating: I would not want to be there............but then, maybe you are trying to tie this into your belief of your being down here on the new earth and not heaven? Shoot, in my opinion, that's kinda a week assertion.......but, ok, to the will we remember them.........as for knowing people we know here, there is some evidence we may well know our loved ones, and even know the saints from past times.

Sheesh. Ok fight picker, lemme give it to ya slowly.

You ask 'would you be so disappointed as to NOT WANT TO BE THERE'.

I said 'I would not NOT WANT TO BE THERE'. That's a double negative, meaning I would still like to be there.

I then continue on with AN ENTIRELY SEPERATE THOUGHT, that being will we remember animals and people who were part of our lives here but are not with us in 'heaven'? Sorry I didn't make that a separate paragraph for you.

Seeing as you don't understand simple human inflectives like double negatives and changes in thought patterns, I can understand how it is you don't understand Revelation. That's ok, God will make sure you get to where you need to go. See ya there bro!

Ok, I did not see the double negative.............makes a difference...........now........concerning the rest of your comment......

Here..................

Let me know when you run out............I'll get you some more.............as for Revelation, I read it, it said nothing about you being the Final Authority on it's translation/meaning. I looked. It doesn't mention you at all in that way.

It would certainly have been more clear had you separated your thoughts............as do I.......so there is less chance for misunderstanding. Anyway.............

[TD]New International Version
A New Heaven and a New Earth
1Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[SUP]a[/SUP] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[SUP]b[/SUP] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb
9One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[SUP]c[/SUP] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[SUP]d[/SUP] thick.[SUP]e[/SUP] 18The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[SUP]f[/SUP] 21The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
22I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

[h=1]Revelation
22[/h]
1 .) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 .) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 .) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 .) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 .) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

[h=1]John
14[/h]
1 .) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 .) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 .) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

1 Corinthians 2:4 .) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 .) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 .) Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 .) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 .) Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 .) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

[h=1]2 Corinthians
5[/h]
1 .) For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 .) For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 .) If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 .) For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 .) Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 .) Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 .) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 .) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 .) Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 .) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 .) Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Philippians 1:21 .) For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 .) But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
23 .) For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
24 .) Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
25 .) And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
26 .) That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

Philippians 3:20 .) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 .) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33 .) Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 .) Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 .) But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 .) Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 .) And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 .) But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 .) All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 .) There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 .) There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 .) So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 .) It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 .) It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 .) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 .) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 .) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 .) As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 .) And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 .) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 .) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 .) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 .) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 .) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 .) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 .) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 .) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 .) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Animals were created by God for man's use. There will be no need of animals in heaven, other than the spiritual ones as in the horse Christ rides.
I find it extremely sad that so many "Christians" think that in heaven they will have all the chocolate, beer, gold they want as well as 'man's best friend'. THAT is NOT what heaven is!! Heaven is a SPIRITUAL REALM!! It is different realm of existence and we will be WITH GOD, WORSHIPING HIM AND DOING HIS WILL. We will not be hungry, lonely, sad or afraid for all of those things (and others) are not conditions of Heaven and fellowship with Him. We will not remember family or friends that were not saved at the time of their death because that would bring sadness and grief is not allowed in Heaven which is a place of joy, love and peace. Animals do not have souls. They cannot make a choice of salvation. So the answer to OP is "no".

Sounds like you've personally been to Heaven with your astute directness; either that or you were bit by a Chihuahua when you were a kid and now hate animals. So there are no animals in Heaven whatsoever? Animals are created strictly for man's service and not for God's eternal delight? Substantiate your logic with Scripture that clearly states animals are not in Heaven. No worries, I'll wait!

Lacking an eternal spirit is what separates animals from humans.

Animals, therefore, do not live on after physical death, only humans have this capability.
Animals have no sin, an attribute of man that separates us from God.
Animals are more Christ-like than humans but they're denied eternal life. Illogical.
