I know this isnt the music forum.... but this song has been heavily on my mind tonight...
it's the song I first cried my eyes out to God too when I was going through the phase of the actual "grievance" for my dad... Today we drove for a couple of hours to get cheap, rough cut cedar to build my new veggie raised beds with. I love my husband, but I feel my life is threatened every time I get into a car with him. Today I told him that the law is that you have to come to a full stop at a RED light before you make a right turn, and he said, "Who told you that?" And he MEANT it! Yikes!
Now to see if I can get him motivated to get the wood out of the truck and actually build them. I was thinking of buying a whole bunch of bedding plants, placing them all over the house, and see if he doesn't move a bit faster to get the job done! Oh yes, then getting the soil to put in the beds.
It's going to be a long first spring, getting this BIG job done!

When Man of Steel came out, I went to see it, dressed in costume......
I got A LOT of stares.
.....In hindsight, maybe I should have went dressed as Superman, instead of Lois Lane?
Im thinking.....maybe?......that might have been the reason they were looking at me weird?

Mom- that was absolutely beautiful.... and just what I needed to help release the pent up emotions I've had. Been bawling my eyes out for about an hour now... and I feel better letting it go and giving it to God. I miss my dad so much.... I wish I could hug him just one more time... and hear my name come from his lips.. But I will have to wait till It's my time to go to heaven to see him and hear him again..

she was born just one week shy of our first anniversary.
she's running from the Lord as fast as she can, in flat out rebellion.
and she hasn't spoken to her dad or me in years.
(because of Who we represent to her??)
but she's still my baby girl, and i don't know how to turn that off.
I know the feeling. A friend just told me his sister died yesterday. She was the first little girl to have a crush on me. And today is our wedding anniversary. Looking at the album... lots of friends now gone..... both her parents and mine. Even the children.... if not killed along the line, so very changed.
