It's quite sad to think Conservatives, and especially conservative Christians, are demonized with a label of hating immigration when all we do is disagree with the method of coming to America illegally. Immigration is a good thing for the country if they come through the right channels and have something to offer our society such as a good skill. But when I see our own government coming against its own people for upholding the federal laws that the government should have already been enforcing, then I have to wonder how can we overcome such a thing? Are we losing our country?

My only hope is knowing God has a plan. So I just keep praying and waiting on His timing.

Gonna be a beautiful day here today. Thinking I might order and plant 14 emerald cedars today ... just to add a bit of privacy to the backyard. Was originally thinking of 30 or more ... but the back was saying uh, ... no Everything's coming into bloom as we speak

my sister Carol told me last week she had mentioned to her husband they should get some mulch.

so he had some delivered....seventy-five bags of it.

he had his 19 yo son and one of his friends unload it from the truck.

I got to admit I like frogs......with a love interest once I was named frog and he was fish.....when he left to go back to Lebanon I gave him a glass frog to take to remember me by......once at camp I took a frog into the cafeteria in a pillow case and let it loose to watch the other girls scream.....it was hysterical......yeah I was a brat like that and things haven't changed much.....lol Another trip with teenagers ( I was a teen at the time) I found some skins/shells of some kind of bug that shed and put them in girls sleeping bags.....the boys got in trouble for it and didn't have a clue.... I just sat there like an innocent.....guilty as sin.....A Blond tomboy brat......yep..... not as innocent as I seem to be...........lol

That will be gorgeous! My grandmother gave me a cedar chest as a child! I love it...it holds my quilts I'm working on!....er...WAS working on. Lol...I broke my sewing machine teehee

my son-in-law and i sometimes watch this ridiculous cartoon in which a character
frequently announces, "Good News, everyone!"

I know!...I'm going too as soon as I can! Lol...I miss sewing...its been awhile. I made little dress up veils for girls to play with...nieces in the family when they came over,..like gold sequence, and lace. I'd play dress up with them too...just for laughs! They are too old now. Lol...so many unfinished crafts in my closet. I need to work on some things soon.

but i can sew a button back on. and do a pretty bad job of hemming pants.
