idk. it's a summon for jury duty, so i hope i don't get selected
I nearly got selected once and I got all excited because it was my first ever jury duty and it was a drunk driving case and the lawyer for the defense looked just like Sam Worthington and when he talked it felt like I was on some tv legal drama... but the next morning we were told the case got settled out of court. :p

I totally forgot today I'm going to be pulling an all-nighter with my youth group for fundraising purposes. Except....I didn't raise any funds. I forgot to. I don't really know what happened, but...well, it happened. SO. There's that. BUT. I'm doing it anyway. For fun. 'Cause I need more of that.

Interesting. I just read an article about cats liking peanut butter and whether they can have it or not. They DO like it, though they can't have much of it. While their bodies are able to digest the protein and the fat, it is plant-based, which isn't very beneficial for cats. It also has a small amount of carbs, which cats do not metabolize very well, either. Very interesting.

I think God may have delivered a message to me through a simple post in the Bible Discussion Forum. That place is closest to the epicenter of all the forums here, but the post remained peaceable, and one small point in the post's bigger picture was like a metaphorical pinprick to me.

Also: I got really close to a cute squirrel today. :D

i've been called to jury duty on may the 4th

may.the.fourth.

i should show up in a princess leia costume. like a boss.
You can do that, but it may backfire against you and cause you to be more likely to be selected. (And you'll have to explain why you're wearing that costume and may come up against terrifying things like people who have never heard of princess Leia)

I really need a job that won't take me away from my family, that isn't revenue sharing, that I can do on my phone (because that's the only place I have Internet right now).
I already work part-time at a revenue sharing job. Apparently not many people care for wellness products that are cheaper than everywhere else (or if they do, I don't know them).

Have you gone to jury duty before?
I had jury duty about two years ago. I was looking forward to hearing a case and everything, but just before we were to go into the courtroom they settled the case so I got dismissed.:(

Then about a year ago I was on a jury during a mock trial at the courthouse and that was a lot of fun. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Spring in Colorado is rather bi-polar. It just can't figure out if it's still winter or if it's really spring.

Last night......3-4 inches of snow

this morning.....rain and a bit of hail

this afternoon......a beautiful sunshiney day

tonight......rain mixed with snow

Ever notice how sharing the things you've been contemplating in the privacy of your own head makes them seem so much more real, and sometimes more scary?
Yes. I know exactly what you mean cinder.
It's like how God spoke the earth into existence and we, as believers have much more power than we even realize...
And our thoughts can interfere with the physical world around us too.

I was going to type something related to this...

So over the last few days I have been feeling a little conflicted on my communication style, and I've realized that I make a lot of people uncomfortable. lol
As if I am too transparent or something...and that I can be too firm with my tone of voice or something or rather.

So I'm going to work on that.
I also went to the office today and finally communicated about a coworker to one of the managers and I'm glad that I did because I am not used to doing that sort of thing. I may have appeared to have spoken a little roughly about it but for the most part, God extended his grace with me as I was learning and depicting the proper tone and words that I used.
So that's awesome.
My coworker also didn't seem like she hated me and the manager was really cool about it.

In some ways I felt like I shouldn't have used the phrase 'I have a complaint', but yeah. I guess I will learn that from time to time. lol

You can actually face legal trouble for that sadly.

However, if you act nervous, uncomfortable, and then when they ask you about it you say "I really don't know, I'm not sure being on the jury is the right thing to do as a Christian".

Finally back home. Oi vei. That was a crazy night. I enjoyed myself for the most part. Unfortunately, since I've had to step up to become a leader, well...let's just say it's no fun being the bad guy and having to tell teenage couples to separate. They don't like that very well.

(And just to be clear, I did try my best to be polite/nice about it. Sometimes, there's just no good way to put, "The couples that are sleeping beside each other need to move.")
