I think it's irrelevant how we feel about taxes.

We live in a tangible world... where breaking laws will have tangible consequences.
I am in agreement, of course, the law of the land affect us and in most cases we must comply or you will pay more than you are willing to.

Exactly, and those consequences should conform to natural law. Life sentences for tax evasion (and ancillaries) is cruel and unusual punishment and the people who are perpetrating cruel and punishment should be held accountable by the same system of justice for maligning it that they represent. Meaning, of course, that we don't just have system of justice problem here but we have a political problem too.

Well, the law of the land with taxes of income by " definition " .... Is corporate gains, profits, etc... Not workers wages, there's actually been Supreme Court cases that justify just that... But kent didn't skip on taxes, if he bought gas or a new fan for his church, he probably paid the taxes out of pocket, no 5013c benefits like most of today's churches do... Matter a fact, if he was 5013c, he would be excluded from paying any taxes, Like the rest who haven't spent ten seconds in prison let alone ten years...

so now, what's the difference between kent and the rest... Maybe thought provoking TRUTH

Here's a 7 minute clip about filing a tax return... There's no law.. But I'm not going to tell american citizens not to file, you just don't know how you will end up, maybe like kent here...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0CcHgHeraZI

Now as for Mr. Kent " not being a creationist " or against paying his taxes is all lies, this 37 minute video sums it up well, he still supports Ken Ham and others even though Ken doesn't support him, whatever... and at the 23:00 mark he talks about taxes...
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ4YIxRqbx8

now there's some justice ...

And here's a few interesting facts surrounding Mr. Kent's case... The prosecutor on his case..... Wait for it....

is now a convicted rapist of a child... The judge said Kent's crime is worse then rape then had it erased from the transcripts, that would call for a mistrial alone... More interesting facts in this 12 minute vid.

He has been found guilty of contempt of court last month, the jurors couldn't come to a verdict on mail fraud... Pray for Mr. Kent, and if you'd like inform others about this case, and you can also write a letter to the judge if you'd like asking for leniency, here's his blog if you'd like to write the letter or just be updated..Dr. Kent Hovind's Blog | Notes from Conversations with God & Study

I lived in Pensacola many years ago, back when Kent was on the active lecture circuit. I attended several of his creation vs. evolution presentations and even brought my kids to his backyard outdoor playground/fossil museum for a field trip. The kids loved his displays of dinosaurs and such. He was an engaging speaker. Whatever his degrees may or may not have been, he gave a clear exposition of the topic and used many visual aids to keep us interested. He certainly sounded like he knew his topic thoroughly.

I moved from there in 1999, so I only heard about the tax evasion and jail term after the fact. He wasn't violent or a threat to society. I guess they wanted to use him as an example to send a message to any others who might want to emulate him financially. I don't know the particulars of the money charges, so I have no idea if he is innocent or guilty. But I do think he has served his time and should be released. Has he written anything to establish whether he has learned his lesson? At some point he has been there long enough.

When you talk like this to the masses... Your bound for trouble, God bless Kent Hovind and his family...
amen, exactly like JESUS says, and happened to JESUS and many of his disciples, in bible time, and TODAY in the uSa, and all around the world.

those who stand out and stand up for the truth, are persecuted by the churches and by the governments and by society and by the unions and by the banks and by the bigpharma and worse of all everywhere by the rcc/jsutes......

Kent Hovind denies the word of God As It is Written and is big friends with Steven Anderson. He Is a "plant-shill", and part of the Hegelian Luciferian system.Steven Anderson is an Obvious NWO shill who takes the Word WAY out of context and is 501c3!
And now because of his "sermons" from "incarceration", he is leading more and more Christian sheeple with itching ears away from the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus through His Word-the King James Bible Av 1611.

He is a NWO-End of Days-Psy-Op patsy.
Lest no man deceive you by any means.

He is Only a Christian brother in Christ,No More.No Less.
Pray for him, but let the Word of God, the KJB AV 1611 and the Holy spirit be your Only teacher.
From a contrite, humble and meek heart.
Without this True heart, we Cannot receive.......the Truth.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Where does he do that ?
They'll say anything, only thing Kent has changed his mind about is a post trib, being what happens for a " rapture " not pre-trib, I don't worry myself with all that, even though I agree with that, as for him denying this or that, is all garbage ...because one doesn't want to twist scripture to their liking, " your denying the word of God " ... Get real

I agree, Kent has led thousands to Jesus, over 700 in prison alone.
You will know them by their deeds.
Keep praying

and this 700 number comes from where? from kent hovind? do you expect him to be any more honest about the number of people he supposedly led to christ than he was about the number of dollars he owed in taxes?

more likely if hovind led anyone in prison anywhere it was into his cult with its false doctrine and sin...he is not a minister of the gospel...

You seem to love throwing stones, and the praise for doing it.
The proof of his innocence has been presented to you but you continue to bear false witness. Have you even bothered to read the conviction?
An independent Baptist Christian group which you are aware of has looked at the evidence and testified on his behalf of his innocence but you call them lairs as well:
https://youtu.be/QjOqUk6y5EU

You may not agree with his teaching however what they are doing is wrong, to anyone, and you are complicit in that persecution.
Repent.
