God will employ whatever righteous means necessary to transform His people: teaching, reproof, correction, training, discipline.
 
Evidences of Conversion: Trust in Christ's person & work, growing conformity to God's will, brokenness over sin, love for the brethren.
 
Oh, for a 1000 tongues to sing my great Redeemer's praise, a 1000 hands to serve Him, a 1000 feet to follow Him, & a 1000 lives to give Him.
 
Only a 1,000? Sheesh...5,000 were won over to HIM on the 1st day of Pentacost....I know this is an old, old hymn, but, 1,000 tongues to sing is not even a drop in the bucket! We need an overflow! 1,000 CHRISTIANS a day are killed in the Middle East alone, if you add Sudan and Irag together.

True, that's what was meant I believe. Just like 1 day before God is like 1000 years of men, in the bible.
 
We must make gospel preaching our great priority for it is the means by which the Spirit of God raises the dead & converts the sinner.
 
Take heart weak saint! God has a plan for the full redemption of His people, and He will see to its completion for His glory and their good.
 
Those who follow Christ come freely, following the desires of their renewed hearts, w/o coercion or the slightest infringement of their will
 
We must not allow the heresies & exaggerations that are wrongly attributed to the Holy Spirit to cause us to neglect our great need of Him.
 
As justification is from faith to faith (Romans 1:17), so sanctification begins and ends with the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

That more souls are saved by the Blood of Christ and receive life on a daily basis based on the impact of ambassadors for Christ regardless of our colour, race and denominations.

Finally, a post that has deep holy spirit roots attached! Amen on GOD's name being made great among the nations, among the communities and among the individuals who profess HIM and to those who do not possess HIM but need to!!!!!
